Not the best room escape I've seen.
The clues were not really findable at all. I needed a walkthrough for about half of this, and I'm usually pretty good at these.
The graphics were good at least.
3/5
It's definitely well designed, and has quality and smooth graphics.
There's something about the physics engine which seems off to me though. It's almost as if the blocks are stiff, yet made of jello at the same time.
Anyways, I enjoy it. 4/5
Oh yeah, just remembered this one.
You really need to make it clear what the upgrades do. I don't really understand the difference between a small and a large satellite. Although I think it's the armour they have. And i don't think more armour alone is a worthy upgrade. At least another slot would be useful. I mean, think about it. For 40 energy I can get 2 small satellites with two small weapons. For 30 energy I can get one big satellite with one small weapon. It just makes more sense, on an economical viewpoint, to get the smaller satellites.
Thirdly, I think there's a problem with the upgrades. I feel like the engine room upgrades are obtained far more easily than the laboratory upgrades.
Also, why can a satellite only have one upgrade? It would make sense for me if they could have one weapon and one defence upgrade.
That's all I've got for now. Great game so far!
i think the concept is brilliant, but there's a few things that aren't the best.
First of all, the graphics. The graphics are really nowhere near the par for games these days.
Second of all, the tutorial. For the last screen, the auto-progress thing when describing the satellites was a pain. There's no way anyone can read that fast. I had to cycle through it at least 5 times in order to actually get what was being said.
Unfortunately, I feel I have to rate this moderately low.
The concept as a whole isn't original. There is originality with the different dragons, but for me, that's just not enough. And the physics in this are awful. The objects pick up speed far too easily, and lose it far too quickly. It doesn't really make sense. I just didn't really enjoy it very much.
Finally got 2.1 or whatever the latest is to work. I think there's a bug in my browser.
Anyways, this has really improved. Nearly all the bugs are gone, and it's just a great game now.
However, it would be awesome if you could end up purchasing more than one building, and still use the previous buildings. So perhaps the main goal of the game (Since there isn't one), could be to own every CD shop in the city. This could be made harder through the use of a larger genre selection, different prices at different locations, less customers at certain locations, etc etc. With a little variation this could become a much larger-scale game.
Very nice!
I seem to have this awful glitch where I cannot move. My samurai just starts at the top of the screen, and no matter how fast/hard I mash up/down or w/s, nothing happens. So far my highest score is 3. :/ From these comments I get the impression that the game is good, but I've got this messed up glitch.
Using the newest Google Chrome on the newest Mac software by the way, in case that helps.
Just a few things. There really needs to be an upgrade for the cashier system. Every day I get unhappy customers due to long lines, despite how well I place my racks or if I have the hi-fi or not. Something also doesn't make sense about the customer's complaints. I have my CD price down to $15.25, and the average is $18.75 (As said by the paper), and they still complain about high prices. Also, at the end of the day, with the report that comes up, some things aren't visible for me. For instance, if I have a positive increase with the karma, it isn't visible. Money earned, Marketing Cost, and Net Result are all invisible. And something customers just don't buy anything, apparently because I'm not stocking that genre. Customers will walk out complaining about a lack of pop, when I have 12 in stock. And I literally get no sales that day.
Aside from those few things, this game really has a lot of potential. 4/5 right now, hopefully these things will get improved.
I remember when this game came out a few years ago, and back then, it was pretty good. It's got great, smooth animation with really simple graphics that make a great look to the game.
I think a remake/sequel would be incredible though.
Add more upgrades, like 'More Money from Kills' and 'More Ally Soldiers'. Add the option to buy different kinds of arrows (Ice, Bomb, threesomes, etc).
Add different kinds of enemy soldiers. Maybe some with different kinds of armor, and you have to hit the right spot to kill them sort of thing.
Maybe add an enemy base that you have to destroy.
Add an actual storyline, with an actual finish to the game.
Stuff like that. This game really is fun though, but it could be a whole lot better.
There is essentially no gameplay. Honestly, you just click the one option it will let you.
The story line is good, as are the graphics, but that doesn't mean much. I got pretty bored halfway through, but only continued because all the comments said "omg so sad!".
The rhyming is a bit bad, and I feel like they rhyming lasts longer than the actual game. I spent most of the time as well just watching Jonah walk around.
Quite boring. 1/5
Some things bother me.
1: I hate when rockets go through people. That has happened to me so many times, it's just annoying.
2: I hate the random difficulty AI. In the campaign, I play a level, fail at it, do just as good the next time I play, but suddenly my teammates are godly.
3: How can the AI get a headshot on me if I can't even see them?
4: It's too difficult early in the game. I had to try level 6 over and over and over again, just because the computer AI is too good too early.
Otherwise, a great game!
