Selling this game on the google play store for 2 dollars when there are still spelling errors and certain mace's that don't work. It's a fun game, and I played all of chapter one, but I really think you should work out some bugs before you have people buy a game. Reading the reviews both here and on the app store, I don't think this game deserves the score it has, but I enjoyed it enough myself, so i'll give it a 4. Also for anyone who disagrees with me posting about their google play version, they advertise for it in game, so I feel my score is completely justified.
It's a shame because the concept for this game is fun, but having to get things perfect over and over because of one screw up really holds it back. I just don't have the patience for this game.
A very cool concept for a game, and the controls are solid. Though yes it feels like super smash brothers almost down to fox's forward B and up B being 2 available parts, it is still a fun game. I felt there was some abilities that had too many parts to use for it, though I can understand why in terms of how you want to customize. I kind of feel like when you have 2 of the same part, the power should double, like the rocket boost should be twice as strong. Would allow for some strategies against other players for staying in the ring, just thoughts. Maybe 2 blasters would fire both? Maybe 2 quick slashes would double the amount and speed? Did not understand the weight part other then not being knocked out, but I felt the extra air time was far more useful. Cool game, keep up the great work. Might just buy it
Thanks for your feedback! I understand what you mean and we thought about it. However it's quite difficult to get the right balance when you can stack the ability ( the stats are already stacking though). Take the uppercut for example. The uppercut is quite powerful and is attached to a arm part. Most of the arm parts can be connected to your legs as well. That means that you can gather and attach up to 4 uppercut ability parts to your body which makes is way to overpowered. Ofcourse we can nerf a single uppercut but that will take away the advantage of a single uppercut. For some parts it will work like the blaster you mentioned. We just have to find the right balance for that. The weight is indeed a little bit silly. It can be in your advantage in a level with hardly any height difference. However the part was designed as a common part that is funny for the looks but not very effective in combat.
The thing I've always loved about Nerdook games is that they are simple and straight forward. No grinding required, you just play until the end and you either lose and try again or you win and try again because it was so much fun. Kudos to you sir
Inspired by League of Legends sounds like, "I'm too lazy to make my own characters"
As much as I adore Veigar, it couldn't be too hard to design a wizard that looks like anything else. Beyond these complaints, the game was ok, but repetitive.
This version of the arcade missile defense game is ok, but I don't see how it's better. The powers feel like more of a let down at early levels, like the first version of the emp is terrible, the early flak can help, but it just doesn't cut it. The only decent one is the one that gives other bases shields, and even then it's not that great. Not really a better game then the original, just more buttons to press.
My rifle man can wear 2 sets of goggles at the same time, this is the most ridiculous looking zombie killing squad on the planet, only joking of course. Otherwise, pretty fun game, but I found myself using the pause button far too often when things got too hectic and then there were glitches with movement when people would cross paths. Possibly the best strat is to get 2 or 3 guys up to 10 strength, then start getting them to 10 intelligence because that mini gun is far more powerful then anything else. Also having 3 people looting the top box is a big deal.
Sorry for the double post, an even better idea might be to just max out the best possible zombie the player owns, or the one that fits the bonus against where the invasion is. I suppose if the player wanted to try and attack with weaker zombies they could, but I just don't see the point in having to click so many times just to add more zombies to your army at the end of the game.
so annoying to click for additional zombies over and over. Can you please add a + max to below the zombies, or even a + 10? why have a purchase 10 if we can't add 10 to our army at a time?
Nerdook, huge fan of your games, but this one is just frustrating. The archer companion feels worthless for the most part because he stands there, and the monk feels like a very low hp shield, if even that. Tried at first just playing through the game but found I was losing exp for not trying to find the daimyo on the first click and defeating him for max exp. Then I tried getting the mountain + gold item and farming mountains for the best stuff, but really this game feels like 90% luck at this point. Fun, but very very frustrating
The controls for this game felt sloppy and over all i'd barely give this 3 stars. Felt more like a game of luck then skill some times, in situations where there were falling objects, and your only solution was to jump and hope you could go either over them, or land on them.
Of the nice things I saw, there was some ok physics and puzzle elements in this game, but very simple at that. The character seems like some strange ninja warrior that someone drew in their 5th period math class in middle school while they were bored.
This game would have gotten 4 stars from me if it was just a bit neater.
This game is fun, but still riddled with bugs. For one I am very certain rate of fire is not calculating correctly. Also when adding points to my attributes, occasionally I will click, and the points will be reduced from my point pool, but not add any to the actual stat.
Assembly line commander talent does not reduce the initial building cost like it claims it should, only reduces the upgrade cost. The warrior version of this talent works just fine.
Many more bugs I have found but don't recall.
I think I used to enjoy this type of game, but after seeing this reskin I think it has really lost it's joy. I can understand the idea, make a "new" race for a certain time of year, but really i could easily see this just put in the original game and not have to invest an entirely new game in it. Is there anything actually new here, no i can't say there is.
its far from a shameless copy. The original concept of nano wars is inspired by Galactic Empire (C64). Anyway my game was inspired mainly by Tentacle Wars and Mushroom Wars.
Kinda hate to be the bad guy, but this feels a lot like sonny, which was a great game, but the combat in this is not as fast paced. If anything it is a bit boring compared to sonny. The combat feels sluggish and when you fight the same enemy in a battle for the 9th time you wonder when you will see something new. I did not get far, so I am being a tad harsh. Good work for what you have made, just maybe in the sequel make combat a different sort of pace. Sorry again if that is ambiguous.
