Pt`2: I would recommend this to people, since it is fun and I haven't yet seen a game that makes zombies this fun and cute and bloody and gore-filled. IF there is a sequel or a part 2, or a remake, ect... take in some of the advice from the comments. Make it less tedious, make animation an option - hitting skip again and again was annoying. Also, add an option to enable remembering your previous item selection. Reclicking the gun again and again and again for all the various hit boxes - in an attempt to get the max damage achievement (which I still have not gotten ¬.¬) and then re-doing said damage after accidentally killing the zombie and having to start again gave my shoulder a cramp.
Pt`1: I like this game. I really do. I had fun, and I scored it highly and added it to my favorites. That said, the game is interesting but very long, and very tedious. I would consider that a bad thing for a game, and only the originality, background story, and beach-balling the zombie after he rocked out on a guitar kept me from rating it low. However, I took the time to do nearly all the achievements as I progressed, it took me nearly 4 hours, and after the first hour it actually started to become boring. Granted, the later portions were fun in their own way, the sudden non-end saddened me.
After getting the boots, you can get the pixie, after the pixie you can get the axe, and after the axe you can cast the spells that make the people fall down!
I really enjoyed this game. Glitches aside, the story was well done, and there was plenty of good dialogue. I wouldn't mind seeing more games like this. I also would not mind seeing a sequel and maybe an extended version that lets us make better use of all the empty inventory spaces. It drove me a little bonkers trying to go over every inch looking for treasure chests. But it was engaging and I really found myself having fun playing it. 5/5 all the way. But please, make it so that we can go back to areas we missed, it was nerve wracking to think I missed some upgrade or spell and didn't want to continue with the story until every room, nook and cranny was searched.
In North Lockmarne, go all the way to the side and get all the chests, then come back and enter the cellar. After you enter the cellar, search the painting for the door, enter the infested dungeon and grind levels for your new spells. Then go all the way down, get the giant hammer and go back to the first enemy in the tunnel, attack the post, it tips over and pulls the chainwire back and more doors should open.
During "Make him talk" I keep getting bugs with the keys. I dunno if its a glitch, but I can't seem to keep from killing him - the keys are pressed by themselves. :(
