No it's not. Not only do you have to place the pieces before time runs out, but it also has to pressurize before time runs out.
It's too easy for punks to jump out of the game right before one of their units dies that would make a 25-pt. difference. You should have to wait until one side's attack is complete before you can disconnect. This has happened to me 20 or so times already, and I've only been playing for 2 days.
