why do I need to click 200 times to upgrade my helper 200 times (which has to be done for every helper you want to upgrade and THEY ALL RESET WHEN YOU PRESTIGE)??? did the playtesters quit after playing for 10 minutes or what?
dear wannabe critics: all idle games' medium badges are made to make you finish the tutorial and unlock most of the core of the game. stop blaming the dev for the badge's pacing. dear dev: your game's pacing sucks. also, it's annoying that you need to put a hero in your party to see its stats, just let us compare them from the bag for god's sake.
You can see the stats from the character info screen (where you learn traits.) Just drag the little area beneath the character's picture which shows their name/race/class with that little bouncing arrow.
some extra tips:
(1) on "no more than 2 plants" levels, sell one of your plants before planting the next one.
(2) if a plant is within 2 tiles of a crystal, it should be on attack mode. if not: if it's low level, put it on growth. if it's ~level 3+, make it charge attacking plants. defense mode is a joke right now.
pro tip: at first, don't invest too much in your spells (maybe 1 point into meteor). the exp from the special challenges (which are usually "don't use spells" so you're good) will keep your plants strong enough to keep getting the special achievements during your first playthrough of the level, which will give you more points for stronger plants, etc. then invest in meteor power 5 for the golden difficulty (play aggressive, pause immediately whenever something happens to adjust your strategy, and cast meteor on the farthest crystals/the ones at the power wells). shield and heal are mostly useless so don't spend any points there until you've maxed out the rest.

@neogilgamesh the seed is rolled when you start a new game (or delete your save and reset all your progress), and the only way to move through the list of values is to excavate when you have an artifact available
