@ juiceboxyo- I understand it is not why it was resubmitted, however it was resubmitted and is eligible for a "new game" weekly/monthly contest? This is ridiculous. It is an old game, automatically should be disqualified and not even appearing on the list for the contest. Period. So, by not doing this, they are potentially screwing a new game designer who has submitted a NEW game by even being being able to appear on the board. It's disgraceful and makes both the makers of Ceasery and Kongregate look bad.
As for the game itself and the need to take it down and resubbed... Everyone knows that when you create a game which accepts real money for in game items or bonuses there is a potential for hacking. They should have had the foresight to see this coming and makes one truly question the integrity of a company that does not.
Old game resubmitted to win weekly contest prize? Screw that, time to give other games a shot. Rate it 1/5 and give the NEW games a shot. Plus this to keep it alive.
One of my faves for sure. Don't walk left, don't touch golden blocks or the sides of any blocks, don't touch spikes, etc.. seems simple right? Frustration, for me, makes this game fun because it's not an angry frustration but an "omg, I can't believe I did that", humorous type of frustration. It is simple, but intricate, fun and fast paced with enough nostalgia appeal to make this a great game for multiple generations. 5/5
IF this game was longer would you be more satisfied?
IF this game was better would it make you feel relief?
IF this game was more than a beautiful, playable demonstration of talent mixed with a wonderful and insightful poem would it make you feel you had more purpose?
IF it were all of these things I would rate it higher than I am able to now, but since this is not a question of IF, I can only rate it 5/5. ;)
Do I think it violates rules?
No.
Do I think it's idiotic to post walkthroughs?
Yes.
DO I think most on the Kong Boards need to quit whining about games they get to play FOR FREE?
Hell YES!
Repetitive but still good, just not as a game. I think this would be a great eye-exam. I noticed some of the mechanical and/or flashing lights levels very easy and could complete them very quickly, but the nature levels with flowers or leaves I had difficulty with just because if had a difficult time with the textures on some tiles with so much detail... I need to get my eyes checked now... sigh...
lol
liked the original better. The ability to choose where you roamed, different rewards for number of shots, etc... this is sorely lacking compared to that, and by the same creator too... sigh.
All I can say is thank you for the Nostalgic romp here at Kongregate. I thought it was well designed and incorporated many of the things that turned me into a game lover so many years ago.
I can only hope this is sequel worthy.
Me: Hello iGod
God:Hello there. If you could have any kind of robot what would it be?
Me: Isamo
God:In the context of iGod, I don't understand " Isamo." .
Me: It is a autonomous robotic creation designed by Toyota
God: Isamo is a autonomous robotic creation designed by Toyota. I suppose that makes sense.
Me: will you give me enough money to buy one?
God:Why do you want it?
Me: to do all of the things I am supposed to do but am too lazy to.
God:Why do you want to do it so much?
Me: I don't want to do it.
God:Take your time in making any decisions.
lol
