@Kvaak: nice guide though you've made a little mistake at the beginning. You write, build a hut on turn 3 and another one the next turn.. which is not possible. on t1 you fight with swordsman+1 militia, earning 100 gold. next turn you earn 200 more gold and buy the hut. On turn 4 you have 250 gold, lacking 100 for the 2nd hut. The other instructions then can't follow anymore, coz you'll get the Lumberjack before you can buy the hut, which now costs a ton more (considering the 3 free huts raise their price).
@Mellington: Mongols start with stable and can build cow shed right away, which completely eliminates the need to build any chicken farms. This allows for a very early economy, not that bad.
Yes, I was confused about the income from conquered countries. It takes 8 seconds to complete, and in Kingdom Overview/Countries Ehl reads 658,834 gold income.. Ahh, now I understand that the actual income is 82,354 per second. Just found the problem.
My total income from all conquered lands is 68,919 gold. But "Cora" alone should already give me 292,818 gold, plus 195,210 from Uzira.. etc. I'm not even getting a fraction of what they should give.
That can't be right since my Kingdom Overview update has been out for over a month and you are the first person to mention this. There is likely something that you are confused about. However if you use pastebin and PM me your saved file by using our export feature I will take a look at it. ~Taiga
I'd like Auto Harvest/Supress to be global setting. Please move that option from the planets and put it on the homebase. In exchange for that, the planet's checkbox just needs an option to "do not auto-manage this planet", if you want to select a planet individually and get his tech. While we are at it, the homebase auto-management could then also have some more choices: "auto deathray locusts" and "auto empty and re-seed" when tech-level reaches a certain level. ++Great game overall, but micromanagement is a bit heavy. The supressing of planets with military is quite costly when you need to terraform them over and over again to mend the damages. Otherwise I liked it and beat the entire campaign on hard.
Please CPU optimizations ? :) Got 891 woodcutters, 5k employees and my dual-core isnt able to handle it anymore. Five seconds freeze followed by 1-2 mouseclicks then another five seconds game freeze and so on.. so slow it comes to a halt.
I ran into major problems at around 4500 buildings and 8k population: Stuttering like crazy! Game is totally busy calculating for several seconds, then it lets me do 1-2 mouseclicks before it freezes for another few seconds.
