I recently stumbled upon a good idea while playing CM. One of the players from the other team tried to get his AI mates to attack me by typing "kill red" , "/kill red", "attack" and so on. This sounds like a good idea, so I'm posting it here. Anyway he shocked me because I thought the AI would really follow his orders, which it didn't lol
One of the best game ever on Kong! When civilians enter my car to get a lift, I always have to think that they might have been bitten and that they turn into zombies in my back, which leaves an uncomfortable feeling lol :)
Save your starting cash, and with the 500 RP achievement from the first task ("perfect defense") you can afford the best gun in the game right away. Either LMG or Assault Rifle. Forget that guy who said "buy 3-4 RP reduction first", because having that gun early grants you following advantages: 1) You never waste RP for weapons which are later replaced anyway 2) Much longer time to level up the passive skills on that weapon, to have aiming, reloading and handling maxed out, when the going gets rough. 3) Takes the pressure off from "must upgrade vehicle to survive" for a looooong time. With that uber-gun, now you have plenty of relaxed time to max RP reduction to even level 5 without breaking a sweat.
Uh, yet another time my soldiers were in perfect formation when a little orc made them go into a wild chase. All chaos broke loose, and of course I had to reposition everybody afterwards.. again!
The 70k shotgun sucks why, it kills 3-4 zombies at far range but once they are close - all bullets wasted for 1 zombie. Spread of angle 5° should be more like 45°
Yes, you take LESS damage that's correct but not very much. I did run some tests with repeating turn nr.1 a dozen of times (same distance, same alien striking) to see the difference between no armor and max armor. It was on average only 3dmg less on a 30dmg hit.
Found a glitch in survival.. when an emitter takes direct hits from a blaster, it becomes suppressed. It even says in tutorial, that "once you can have a blaster firing directly on emitter, all other weapons are not needed anymore." So you can survive forever.
To beat the last level of the demo in extreme difficulty, you need two lvl 15 archers, a barbarian and two healers. Ozimal's Cloak +19 def (!) reward is better than the puny +5 wool robe :) Place the 2 archers in the middle of the map, boost them to tier 4. Place 1 healer right to the entrance and boost once (for the light spell that makes enemies easier to hit), another healer so that all enemies constantly have *lighted*. Reskill archers to 5 pts in armor-piercing and put the rest in flurry etc. The archers need good raw damage, because the armor-piercing depends on damage dealt. I deleted the healers and placed them more upwards when the boss had walked by them. In the end with the snails, you should have enough money to get a barbarian boost-3 to finish the boss, since he doesnt have as much armor as the skeletons. *GREAT GAME* :)
I know, that's why I'm working on a map editor :)
