what this game desperately needs is a "buy all" button to buy all availible stages and a "buy all" setting to buy all the ship levels you have money for (buy 100 is way too low). At this points its like 200 manual clicks every time i ascend just to go through the cheap stages and another 200 clicks to buy the cheap levels of ships.
Something weird happening with production calculation. Passive production 29k, production from poplation 138k, production growth 257k. I assume those 257k are suposed to be with all % bonuses but the actual production per turn I get is more like 150k, though its hard to tell the exact amount of production when you get to the endgame (production pool increases by 0.1 - 0.2M every turn).
I ran into what I suspect is a bug - I basicaly skipped the 2nd material upgrade for the active clicking mining (I upgraded 6 times out of the 25 possible). Now I have unlocked the 3rd material and I can upgrade up to lvl 56 and no more. I suspect you are counting the number of upgrades with a given material rather than checking the current upgrade level against the unlocked cap. The way it is now, if you skip the earlier materials, you will never be able to buy all the levels since you cannot buy upgrades with obsolete materials.
so, i got to lvl 102, fully upgraded copper gear and I cannot advance because for the entire game, I only got 2 pieces of coal. I have tons of useless money, a pile of iron and some limestone and I cannot use any of it because I have no coal :/
Also a nonrelated comment - it would be nice if it was possible to either train constitution, or if it said at the character creation that constitution is the only nontrainable attribute.
a few thoughts...
1) nice Diablo clone, I have not encountered any hard glitches. I hope you will make an original game in the future :)
2) needs balancing. In the entire game only 1 creep type deals any noticable damage (daemon) and the first few bosses do nothing as well.
3) needs better targeting. Half the times I try to attack a moving target, I move towards the enemy instead. This makes boss fights rather silly (playing as ranged character). I would also suggest a "dont move" key or "attack ground" key, that would solve the targeting thing.
4) reviving inside the level you died is bad. Example. Last boss, died at the spawn point = stuck forever sice I die before the character starts responding to any commands.
5) the advertisment - I really dont mind, the size is about the same as the minimap, I dont see what all the people are complaining about.
very nice game :) However i think Interceptors need some balancing, I went to +- 50 difficulty levels (except defence levels) with only Interceptors (yes, only = no turrets, no generators, pure interceptor spam) :-D Also i would suggest some way to set targets, it is sad to watch your turrets turn back and forth as they re-target (maybe you could click on an enemy and this would make your units in range prioritize this enemy?)
the only annoying (but unfortunately VERY annoying) thing about this game is that even if you train a specialist mage, your character will still use mellee attacks quite often. This makes combat all too frustrating :/
Mental Strife indeed causes mental strife. I used it and the game got bugged :-D By that I mean the game engine goes on just fine, but the only buttons that can be clicked are the Autocast/Autoattack. My guess is that it is the enemy's turn and he just does not take any action, that would explain why only the Auto buttons respond.
Nice game, but it "crashed" on day 45 - everything except the Resource/Army/Weapons switch stopped responding. Also it seems quite stupid that you loose your troops when they get to enemy camp. And the last thing, it is a bit strange that you can steal unlimited amount of gold from the enemy, I regulary gained about 13000 each battle :-D
just finished the game, I had about 3 hard spots where I almost lost a section of the wall... but otherwise it seemed to me quite easy except for a few levels where there came big waves from oposite directions... and man I hated those flying bastards killing off my precious repairmen :-D
What I missed was the possibility to target specific enemy, this made those transporter bugs REALLY annoying
the last badge eluded me twice until I found the ultimate weapon - Tick Shooter :-D Build 6 of them in good places and you cannot loose. I finished the game with 6TS, 2 Cannons, 1 beacon and 1 Supermonkey and it was all too easy :-D
