Kept losing against undead that I had previously been destroying. Couldn't understand it... until I remembered I have to specify how many units of each type to bring. /facepalm
Well, FATE 2.0 was basically just a framework for designing your own homebrew system, which seems to be more or less what this (flash) game is using. The unplugged rules look a little different, but I haven't had a chance to examine them in detail. And of course you're the expert on where your inspiration came from.
Actually it may not even be about dexterity, unless that also affects attacks per round. It's the two +2 minimum ranged damage encounters, plus enough speed (and possibly dex) to attack 10+ (currently 12x) times per round, doing a minimum of 60 damage per exchange. Compare that to magic which at a similar level does about 15-20 damage per round, and costs mana half the time to boot. No idea about melee, I never get that close.
In its unplugged version it is a similar system, but has a set number of attributes, which allowed it to be made into a computer game. Hopefully "Emeralds" will be the first in a series with more and more added game functions. Why... am I not building anymore houses? Everything else is maxed out, resources are coming in faster than I can build, but whenever I expand my lands other things get built. The only houses are in the oldest parts of my territory.
If you disband a Golem Barracks while a unit is under the effect of their stun, they become permanently stunned. I strongly suspect this was not intentional.
2d13h -- buy science and cash, then reload, a level or two of accuracy (missed shots mean less time spent researching/growing), then max out plant growth. Nothing else. You should unlock the machine gun right about the time the tree finishes.
