This is what I appreciate about true game developers. Instead of taking something that already exists and slapping a new mechanic on it, it's an original game with a simple concept and lots of replayability. I wish it were longer! 5/5
Great concept but ruined the punch by saying exactly what you were going to do at the beginning of the game. Already knowing that, I felt no connection or intrigue and skipped all unnecessary dialogue. This game comes off as more of a generic B horror movie that gets boring very quickly. 2.5/5 because great direction but poor execution.
The mobs of tiny purples that explode from the giant enemies need to be removed. They absolutely broke the game. I shot at them for 45 seconds and they didn't die. Played 4 times and never got past level 13. Great game but that breaks it. 2 stars until it's fixed.
There is no point in an upgrade system if you have to use it in a certain way in order to win. If that's how you want the game played then don't give us options. You're setting up the player for failure. Fix it.
Great except for the challenges. A lot of times it comes down to luck and spawn placement of objectives rather than skill. Completely defeats the purpose of a skill challenge.
It was a great game until the last level came down to chance. Does your anti-tank take out theirs on the first strike? Yes: you win. No: you're screwed. Fix your game balance. Also, give us a chance to respec. I spent all my points building my army not realizing none of it made a difference on the last level. Major fix needed.
I liked Fishy, but this one is terrible. I spent 15 minutes and still couldn't get out of the first area because it requires around 30 perfectly timed jumps before you can get anywhere. I don't understand how the first game could be so good and this one became a flaming turd. The rest of the game might be outstanding but if you don't let the player get there, you might as well have not made it.
