It would be nice to have some way to reset and be able to place blocks. It's definitely a good start though. Meanwhile, I fell through the bottom of the world.
It's a great game. The only problem for me is when I'm able to poison all of the enemy jelly factories there's nothing they can do about it (or vice versa)
@drakan: I noticed that after my comment. Still, it's a limited resource. I gave the game 4/5 regardless, but I wish I could play without having to watch that counter refill or spend those crystals.
You had me hooked right up until I ran out of light. I was thinking this was a really cool new take on a CCG that didn't make me spend money to keep playing for more than a few minutes at a time. I'll probably be back once it has time to "recharge" but I'm very disappointed to find that this is just like every other CCG out there in that regard.
Great little game, but twice now I've had it slow down and crash my browser (FireFox) and when I restart it, it's lost all of the progress I made since the last time I played.
Awesome, didn't even have to play at all and I got the first badge. I opened up this page and it gave me the 100 kills badge. Uh... yeah... I totally earned that.
I greatly enjoyed this game. I felt that it was too short and there were a couple puzzles (particularly the swamp) where it seemed like it could just "hiccup" on you and make you redo the whole thing. Other than that, it was perfect.
Enjoyed it immensely until I got to the train and kept getting bugged during the luggage. Also, I'm guessing there's something else that you can do in the room with all the conduits, but all I ever managed to do was fall through the floor.
I'd love to be able to play old missions and use all of the tower upgrades. I understand not wanting to make getting stars too easy, but sometimes you just want to mindlessly blast a few waves of baddies.
I understand the desire to profit from these games. It's just too bad that it has to be done in a way that keeps me from enjoying the game and progressing quickly. I love the concept and it seems really well executed and very interesting. I just can't justify spending any real money toward a flash game. Even so, 5 stars for a great concept.
Glad you're enjoying the game! Also appreciate that you took the time to share your thoughts with us here. Energy regenerates quicker as you gain levels and you'll also gain an increased maximum amount of energy as well, you can experience every part of our game without spending actual money, it will just take you a bit longer. =) Hope this helps!
Depending entirely on poor drop rates and a relatively slow recharge on energy (not to mention constantly running out of materials and tools) makes this game much worse than it could be. I know the developer wants to make a little money off it, but if I could afford to pay fees for a game, I'd be playing some MMO instead of this. I'd much rather suffer through a few ads and actually be able to enjoy the features of this game than have to wait 30 minutes for 5 minutes of game play and be completely unable to advance because a particular resource won't drop. It's a fun game, but the need to pay for crowns to get what you need to advance makes it a grind if you don't want to spend money on crowns.
An in-battle pause would be greatly appreciated. I kept having to quit out and come back to a fight whenever I needed to go to another window. Frustrating.
Give the option to skip animations and allow players to start from the result of their last correct choice rather than the beginning. I liked it (thought it was way too short) but having to watch the whole animation every time it forced me to start from the beginning was a pain.
