So I cast the tornado spell, expecting ... I don't know.
I do know what I got. I got a toad whose burps are apparently toxic and purple.
Would not buy again.
@ Tom760:
English
Etymology 1
Fusion of Middle English redden "to rid, free, clear" from Old English hreddan (“to save, to deliver, recover, rescue”) from Proto-Germanic *hradjanan and Middle English reden "to clean up, clear" from Old English ġerǣdan "to put in order, arrange, prepare" from Proto-Germanic *garaidijanan (“to arrange”). Not bad - there appear to be no bugs or glitches or anything like that. But it doesn't feel very exciting. There are better battleship games out there.
So this is the game that really makes me wish there was a 4.5 star option on the rating. I don't want to give it a 5 because it isn't really my cup of tea, but a 4 just feels too low :(
Oh man can't wait. One thing I'd love to see is either a bigger screen or a way to zoom out. I'm now losing combos because the enemies are to slow to get into my field of view. I generally start firing blindly to try to extend my streak because range is greater than the field of view.
So with the last few games from undefined, it kind of feels as if they haven't been really play-tested much. Some are boring, most are slow or laggy, and invisible/impossible difficulty curves. Don't get me wrong: I love the different things you've tried, the various types of games coming out. Keep putting out new games, just ... maybe shuffle up your play-testers to get some new feedback. Because certain things that get brought up every game don't seem to be addressed. Sorry for rambling. I love this type of game. I really wanted it to work, and I may come back and give it another 4 hours in a few days or so. But the inability to train your team, etc (all these points have been brought up by others, no need to rehash them here) make this one not so enjoyable to play after the third hour or so.
So my memories of xonix have it sped waaay up. It was a hectic nightmare of will I fit? Can I turn around in time? If you want to remake xonix, please give me some of that. This feels like a leisure game with plenty of time to think and no hurry.
@lorddragonfang: yes, you are overlooking the option to sell. go to your card collection, the last tab (shows equipment) then hit the sell button (right next to the combat active button) then click the card to sell. seems to sell for ~1/3 buy price
Lol thanks xD
