yeah, like fiftymen said, just camp the first level that spawns two Spawning ships. All the little planes they spawn give gem thingies. I maxed out 2 guns halfway to the second boss! Perhaps the spawning ships shouldn't spawn ships that give gems?
good game, but no developer response to any of the 2k+ rated comments, which I also plussed. I would really like to see cards stacked, and more balanced resource usage. Also, it would be nice to see more information on your opponent, like in other CCG types.
The guns don't seem to reload at the faster speed until they are completely out. Is it supposed to be that way? It seems useless to try and reload between waves, as it reloads so slowly.
Definite huge props for active developer response. I don't think I have ever seen a developer comment on any but the most popular posts, let alone ones that are +1, or hot off the keyboard.
Okay, so I played to get the badge, which took about an hour. From what I can tell, its not much different than it was 10 years ago. Not sure if it was just the content, or the GUI, but as far as these types of games go, I think Dawn of the Dragons has been the best one I have played so far. Most of the other ones just feel... empty or mechanical.
okay, all the monetary stuff aside, I do have a legitimate complaint about part of the game mechanics here. So, after macroing for 3 days to max out a few of the weapons and research, the gold balloons are now just a nuisance. I actually try to avoid them, as whatever power-up they give is far worse than my normal maxed-out guns. The gold balloons need to give a consistent, uber-power every time you collect them, like a bomb that pops all current 'bloons on the screen. Having that been said... the game really looks nice, but is absolutely no fun at all. Anyone who actually spends money instead of taking the 5 minutes to create a macro to play for you over night is just lazy.
fun, but extremely easy. Especially once you can revive your units. The lightning bolt spell, too, allows you to kill nearly anything in one shot once upgraded and allows your army to kill all the buildings with ease. Also, it would be nice to be able to tell your units to STOP. Moving them around also makes collecting money wayyyy to easy. The game is a good base for a nice strategy game. But for now, the strategy is make lots of units, lightning bolt and bless the heck out of everything... win.
great looking game, and smooth game play! A few things I think may improve game play... improve that map thing, it really doesn't tell you anything important. Also, it would be good to see HP left and HP taken per hit, to better determine who really has the least HP left in battle. Also, when going back to the earlier levels, you have to get all the keys again, which seems kind of pointless.
arg! I accidentally clicked to produce the wrong item and I can't find a way to cancel it. All I can do is "speed it up" for a cost, of course. Developer: Please add a CANCEL PRODUCTION button.
how do you unlock the next job class? also, how do you get items like iron ore and leather to get the better items? there needs to be a better explanation of how this works...
