I like the art an animations, but the controls still feel undeveloped. I have a difficult time getting units to attack at the right area/units. For example, I will have a group of theives attack a group of archers, then after they kill one archer, they will run away, then back to the archers again. Really frustrating during large battles.
hmm... never had to buy a single potion, yet the potion guy is absolutely loaded with money!! Basically, to beat the game, just open it, get to level 10, then leave it running for a couple weeks auto training and auto killing/res... boom, now you can afford anything and kill anything you want.
I am really not liking the aiming system. I thought it was something i could get used to, but i just really don't understand how it works... Also, I don't understand how the money at the end of the level gets calculated. Sometimes I am really great at a level and I get less money than when I barely win with a couple shield points left. All this just leaves me to run around aimlessly pressing fire until the little lady tells me that my weapon is overheating.
I really wish I could hold down or back to keep her head down or shield up... getting the timing on the arrows is crazy, as some times the cue comes as I am about to jump or duck, and she can only do one thing at a time. Got to level 3 in about 20 minutes... and now my eyes just hurt from trying not to blink while staring at the front corner of the game.
haha... just noticed in the end pic that the big overall wearing guys look a lot like Mario, including the "M" on the hat and mustache. Great game! Beat it on the first time around in about 2 hours only losing about 20 health on the house... mostly due to the scope on the rifle bugging things out for a couple of rounds.
Excellent game! Kept me playing for hours. However, most of that time was spent watching slow animations. I think they could be sped up a bit without hurting the underlying gaming experience. That's really the only negative I have found so far... great work!
yay! Fun game indeed! Had a little trouble with the missing masters, but luckily, others commented on it, which helped resolve that after a little while of searching around. I have to say, once you get the poison arrows, things get really easy!!
okay... just noticed the little note on the menu screen that says "if you are experiencing lag, please right click go to settings, and set storage to unlimited."
agreed... it lags for a split second every 1 second. The lag actually helps avoid the charger cells, but then you end up hitting random cells when you try to move when things get crowded. I got the easy badge back in Feb, and I don't remember having the same lag issue back then. I really is a good game with some decent music... just wish the lag could be fixed.
poo... I messed with my vehicle format and it auto-deleted the engine (nearly fully upgraded). Am I really going to have to play for another hour to get that engine back?? bah... The game does feel like a sand-box solo version of cyclomaniacs, though. I think it would be a lot more fun if there were other AI bikes to race against, or uber parts to unlock after completing certain combo moves or distance, or whatever.
