Can't really recommend this. There's no real sense of progression. Every time you get to a new 3rd power (million->billion, etc.) the time to sell something increases, which means you're basically just trying to get back to your old level of selling power when that happens. It's just the same thing over and over.

Follwers are stored in a server, save game is sotred inside your computer, if you clear browser cookies you delete game progress.

Trains seem to only carry max 400 of a single goods? My 3500 capcity train carrying water/coal will only fill up to 800/3500 every trip (and yes there's tons of resources there waiting for it). In addition, goods "overflowing" the storage should be automatically sold.

I think it'd be a lot better if expedition stock was separate from workshop stock. So you send inventory to the expedition and it disappears from the workshop. But also make it so it doesn't reset when you reset the workshop.

If there's no reset functionality, then permanent boosts available for real cash could be a really bad thing. Normally a reset functionality would just mean you're "ahead of the curve" by getting such a boost, but like this it's a permanent advantage. I hope this doesn't ruin an otherwise interesting game so far.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, we're aware of the current mis-balance with the paid items so this will be re-done in the next update. We will also add resets.

I don't understand.. except for the 2-4th jobs on the burger joint everything just seems to consume WAY more raw materials than I could ever produce from my buildings (and glades etc. are limited supply, so I don't want to rely on them...). I'm trying to power through to manufactured goods and see if it helps, but if not this isn't very well designed at all.

Thanks for the feedback! I recommend getting your industrial and commercial buildings together and boosting them with restaurants and boost items in their building slots. Combined with the resources on the map, you will be well on your way. Also, if something is taking too much resources, turn their jobs off for a while (the green button on the job UI in the upper right) and build up resources that it accepts. The game is about resource management and min-maxing where needed. I am always continuing to balance the game though so it is good to hear when someone has trouble along the way. I will be doing another pass on this soon.

Well, tried to try it out again and actually managed to create a savegame and played it for a few days. But now I suddenly get the savegame error again, so I guess that's it.

I've just checked the logs and it seems that you were able to play again. You've probably got the savegame error with code 409, which means you ran two instances of the game at the same time. This isn't supported and to prevent any data loss, the older instance shows this error message .

First it tells me it can't allocate enough memory, although I have enough memory on my computer to probably run a few thousand instances of this game. Then after fiddling around I get a savegame error even though I don't even have a save game yet. F-uck this.

I'm very sorry for your experience. I've just checked the server logs to identify the problem. It seems that the game client hasn't received your user id from the Kongregate api and therefore cannot create a savegame. I will communicate with Kongregate how this can happen and how to solve it. As a software developer yourself you probably now how it feels when you have to rely on third party services and can do anything to solve it.
