hmmmph... Not a bad game, but I'd like to see a more fun terrain to play with. I get you're intention, it's supposed to be tight, but that doesn't mean you can't make it a bit more interactive.
Also you only use one gun all the time, I want to have a reason to use more than one weapon...
3/5. Not bad but can be a lot better.
It is only when I played the bonus level on the sands map, the race bonus level, that I discovered how much potential this game has. You have some serious moves that you could take advantage of, players must know when to use what wall jump, when to slide, etc, to gain maximum efficiency. I would LOVE to see a multiplayer (or even singleplayer) runner/race game with these moves. Right now you have awesome physics, but you don't really force the user into using all the moves.
Game is awesome, but I find it to be a little too easy, would be cool if you could make it harder one way or another.
Also there should be a reason to use the 4 weapons, I mean RPG is obviously the best weapon in 99% of occasions, so you should force weapon switching more often.
That's just two points you could work on, but in general the game is really good: 5/5
great game but it is way too easy for people that know how to type. Would be cool if you added harder modes. And online multiplayer and badges too of course :D
Fun game, was gd. But like other people say, when you want to focus on making the game challenging, chill teh f_ck down with the graphical fx, cowboy! Even though they are nice :)
4/5
Hey Sigames, I wonder why you never make any harder note charts?
I mean, it's challenging for a while, but compared to the harder songs in guitar hero this is a bit easy, and I miss a good challenging game like this for the pc.
Don't get me wrong as game dev I know it's nice to have easy content too, but you should think about the people that seek a challenge too^^
As a suggestion, for SCGMD5? maybe: add some harder songs, or even better: let the users create note charts and share them with others, which they can use (if they have the song, so you'd need some kind of runtime loader)
The game doesn't really feel intuitive, it's a different approach from most TD games, and I'm not sure if it is in a good way.
However that being said, the graphics are kinda cool, and the animations/hud and music and so on is awesome, I can see you put good work into this game.
So you don't deserve less than a solid 4/5.
@Mtx_11 Of course it is possible, the song is not that hard :). The time god doesn't speed up the song, it just increased the speed the notes come flying by with.
Whatever floats your boat, glad you played it anyway :)
