Looks like a fun game... too bad I'm no good at this sort of thing... oh well. I still give it a 4/5 overall. I love ninjas but this game type hates me... hehehe
Yay! I'm keeping xp when I disconnect now! :D (or at least 75% of the time... better than never... before I lost 4k xp once... in the lower levels too...)
This game is brilliantly funny, and even makes a point of how you're meant to die quite easily... and yet this isn't in the slightest a hindrance to progress through the game. Good job on making the perfect platformer for someone like me who generally isn't great at platformers!
Only thing that needs some looking at is that it seems like there should be some sort of system where if you disconnect in battle, when you reconnect, you reconnect in a safe area or are invincible until you reconnect, as I've died a few times from this... Probably could've been fine if auto attack was turned on, but I dislike having it on... takes a lot of effort out...
This game... has bad scaling... wait, no... terrible scaling... and exploring the wild has seemingly no reward... I'm beginning to wonder about whether or not I should actually finish the badge, because I seem to have to sprint through areas to even finish quests... A game without balance is not a good one... at least in most games I can farm to get better weapons, but there's hardly any in the entire game, it would seem... I'm willing to give the second game a chance, but only if someone gives me a holler... I got to level 8 in this one after already nearly 3 hours of grinding... which seems like a bit much, even for a game of this type...
the game was slightly rushed to make it out for Halloween .. after I release Chapter 2 I will be revising this one, to include headshots as well as several other improvements
Being bad at platformers that involve these sorts of tactics just made me frustrated in the end... I'm moving on... funny enough concept, but I'm not uprating/downrating because it simply isn't something I can do for some reason... I'm only able to predict one attack, and all others are melee when you are melee. Honestly, that seems counterintuitive, but whatever...
Nice concept and good job for the time allotted, but not being able to continue from where I was after dying is game breaking. Losing points or something could've been the penalty... It just takes the fun out when you get nearly to the end with all coins and then have to restart because you bit the dust.
Made a decent arena... tried to play it, and it had proper difficulty progression, but after trying to move on to stage 6, I simply froze. My avatar would follow the cursor, but I couldn't pause, fire, or move. Can't edit the arena either. >.>
*Tries out Apocalypse cannon.* Keeewwwwllll... *Waits to recharge and finds final boss.* Whoo! This'll be a cinch! *Fires cannon. The projectile reaches the border. Nothing happens.* Wha...? *Throws a momentary fit, then proceeds to destroy the boss manually with no trouble...*
It was disappointing not to get the satisfaction of basically nuking the last boss, but still, a few mega cannons and two beams and it was still easy.
I have good comp, so I didn't have as much trouble with lag, but still reduced framerate. Nice game overall. Very fun. Reminds me a bit of Spore and some other games. 4/5 (Fix the lag or make it possible to switch off the bubble dynamics. The bubbles constantly expanding and contracting is what makes everyone lag so.)
Not being able to use the nuke was pretty lame. I understand the sort of game this is, but putting it as a weapon was unnecessary. If you wanted a more powerful nuke weapon, you should've made it reminiscent of a Fallout Fatman (Shoots mininukes, which don't destroy the world... >.>).
Could anyone help me out? I get a black screen when the game tries to load. It seems to be the only game that does this to me on Kongregate. I was able to play the first game just fine, as well. Thanks.
HOOAH INDEED !!! :D
