I think I found a bug. I completed the 2nd quest (the one with the hermit wizard) several times and the game said I looted a staff 2 times, but when I look in my inventory they aren't there!
But hey! This is a great game! Cute colourful Art and a fun game concept!
I like the idea of this game, but it has alot more potential. The difficulty is high, but sadly in a frustrating way. It's hard to get a high enough gold income, but once it reaches a certain level you can just swarm the enemy to death. And that's a good enough strategy to beat every single opponent. And after you beat the game you could continue to stock up gold and build a ultimate deck with all kinds of crazy strategies, but since there aren't any stronger opponents that would be kinda overkill and a waste of time. There's not enough incentive to continue playing. Also I would've liked to see more diversity among the opponents. They all only use theme-based decks and I've never seen them use toxic wave, the +50% damage spell, or kamikaze. There are so many more strategies than "only knights" or "only golems". And the fact that the AI doesn't know the word tactics tops it off in terms of easy and repetitive. Still I think this game has the potential to shine.
The teleport ability of the Awlon is way too strong. They can win against any enemy in a matter of seconds simply by producing a few upgraded drones and teleporting them to the enemy mothership! Two waves and its gone! It's easily the strongest 4th ability of the 3 races. It should have a much higher cooldown.
Discovered a bug: I'm stuck in Survival Mode. I managed to get past a few additional waves by sending my remaining soldiers to the weakest enemy building right before the current waves ends. Eventually my soldiers were to little to take over even the weakest building and I should be defeated, but the waves count just keeps on going up, while no new enemies appear. I have to restart the game now.
I'm tired of being told how much better a premium membership would be. Those Battaliontips are annoying and so is the fact that the real cool stuff this game features is for payers only. And on top of that the item drop is so extremely low that you sometimes have to win 10 games in a row in order to get a stupid hat or some glasses. This is getting on my nerves. I won't play this game again. They overdid it a little with their premium membership.
Kongregate being a business probably gives only part of the money that this game produces to its creator. Every business is only about making a profit. Now I think profit alone sucks, but if the greed for profit makes a game less fun to play that sucks twice as hard.
Sucks that you have to pay for publishing maps. A bit too greedy for my taste. The slow item gain is ok. But restricting such a cool and important feature to paying members? A great deal off creative potential is lost this way and that just because kong wants to make money. That really sucks!
Strange. John Sheppard needs 5 million dollars to set up an attack force. I have almost 2 billion and still there's no dialog option that launches the attack. What do I have to do? I hope it's not a bug.
This game is great. The only thing annoying is that you have to rebuy your upgrades in every map. And the last Level is a bit boring. The Lord of Hell didn't do anything at all. Seems like he only targets normal units and not special units.
**I beat Cave 5 Last Night** To beat it: Creatures: Goblin, Mermaid, Dwarf Engineer, Ghost Armor Spells: Athene Protection, Fireball How?: Keep your army at the base, the stealth goblin won't move from the enemy base unless attacked apon, use fireball spell to protect yourself. Cap out your army then send them all in at once. Works every time. **COPY PASTE this and keep it alive** ~Athenian (12)
