combat needs serious revamping, and a tutorial is almost necessary. Also, it takes forever to build up the technology for a military, having the enemy armies at your door so soon is not balanced.
So I've been doing the "hit reset to keep the upgrades" trick for a while, and I think that once you've reached 5000 points with your glitched upgrades, you can select the small ball, then reselect the big ball, and the big ball seems to fly a lot faster. Can anyone else confirm this?
I think the delay everyone is talking about is just that the ball doesn't release until the spacebar is released, as opposed to when it's pressed.
That said, flash games can be laggy, and I don't know how many times I've released the rock at the right moment, only to have flash lag and send it short/far.
The scoring also seems a little odd. I can smash walls and even knock some over, and not score as much as when I take out the top two soldiers on level 1 with a direct hit.
I love it. I'm sure you've got a lot of plans, and I'm confident this game will just get more awesome. I personally would love to see:
1) Better controls. Maybe you can earn an auto-release timer or "stabilizers" or something
2) Breakable walls
3) Flaming Spheres (set people on fire, so you can get more points even if not a hard hit. Also, wooden walls/things could burn)
