This game is a bit too easy. On my first try, I got it all cleared in 13 days, and I felt like I wasn't being as efficient as one could've been. (I got robbed several times, and while choosing my team, I had no idea what the stats would do)
CORRECTION: The rythm of the music doesn't fit in 2-X during the part where you go upwards. At least it felt off.
I general, I liked this. It was a bit wonky at times and oh shit, it continues after 3-X??? o_o
The hiding mechanic is tedious and wonky, at least in the early game. Perhaps I chose the wrong stats, but that's how I feel about it.
Also, this game has this issue of being thematically self-contradicting. In one end, it tries to be realistic, in another, every vendor has limitless money on hand, and raiders attack you regardless of your affiliations.
I haven't played for long, but as this game isn't an improvement on the previous one by much, I don't see why I should invest any more time in it.
Who wants to play a bad 2D version of Minecraft with poorly implemented RPG-esque elements in it and certain death to anyone placing a block in the wrong spot? Yaaaay!
The creation speed doesn't scale well enough. I've got 2X original max, and 1.2X original speed, meaning it takes - roughly estimated without a calculator - 70% more time to fill up my shadows to the max. This is quite tedious. :/
Once you got CHARLESing maxed once, getting a higher income is basically a grind. Once you get to somewhere about 6.xxx quatdec/s, it's almost impossible to get more. Yet there are 300 medals remaining. >.<
The newspaper achievements that were added feels nothing more than some rough patchwork for a mechanic that wasn't inherently designed for the game. Especially once you get above 700 newspaper stuff, then the price for it grows so much that you can't afford getting it without getting it itself. On top of that, once you've got it, you don't need it, because you've probably got all the other achievements already.
This one seems a bit rushed compared to your other games... Okay, it seems VERY rushed. You got to get the players immersed with the characters before you rush them into the story.
I don't know about future updates, but at the moment, those reversed prices are simply ridiculous. I don't feel that simply stating that you're planning to make it a deeper part of the game to be very satisfactory, either.
