Great game. Still, a loophole: Felix should never have done the sending back on human First, they should have done tons of animals and realize the problem. Chris Sr. shouldn't have died.
Suggestions: 1 make an idle trooper counter, e.g. 1/17/24 (idle/current/max trooper). 2 powerplant's perspective seems to be at odds with other buildings. 3 ability to make several weapons in a row. 4 a bug: the start cut scene of an act can only be viewed after completion of the act.
Actually you don't even need to use the heart/hp meter... you could have just use the distance to indicate hp. I think it will convey the feeling better. Still, 5/5 game.
For those who can't beat the second-to-last boss: 1 click on tank could transform it to a tower; 2 human archers are useful, but they will be killed by enemy heavy crossbow; 3 don't use low level soldiers against boss, just send your elves and knight out repeatedly.

Small point to make - to supply those nifty quality games, we developers need to eat. When we don't eat, we get weak and our typing becomes slower. I've had many helpful comments regarding the mission credits and requests to make the game more accessible and I am working on it. Hacking the game to override our mechanisms hurts our income and makes it less likely that the game will be maintained and updated.
Bug report: if you died and chose to try again while you've got henchmen, then they are still there with all their big guns in the next game, only they won't fire at all...
Made some updates for #1. #2 is mostly because of my limited drawing skills, lol. Still working on #3 and #4. Thanks for the suggestions!
