This game is designed to make me feel stupid... lol. To which I say, boo. But I definitely never claimed to be a geography fan/nut/guy/scholar. I gave this a 3/5 because I can't play the damn thing, but it's probably a lot of fun if you can.
I had a decent time playing the game. I enjoyed just hacking and slashing through the easy mode.
However, I still don't have an interest in checking out the Facebook game... 4/5
I dunno.. The game seems like it should be a lot of fun... but I hit level 15 or so and if I don't pass the first few times, what's my motivation to continue? It's not like I can go to past levels and grind for better powers.
The game was fun... I think the opposite Glados thing was a bit obvious. If the enemies were a bit more hardcore, then I think you could step up the upgrade system a bit to make it more relevant. I didn't see much of a motivation to upgrade speed unless I had a few extra bucks left over from larger purchases.
But I had a bit of fun.. I gave it a 3/5
I loved the game... Attractive and bright graphics, decent but simple sound. The gameplay was rather simple and there wasn't really much of an ending, but I thought it was good.
4/5 because I can't give it a 3.5
I love the "Start Muted" option in the beginning. Very clever.
I also enjoy the intro, which is saying a lot because most intro's are pretty much throw away animation that can be skipped without missing anything interesting. I mean, it's not like it was a Kubrick film, but it was cute and funny.
The screen that explains what you're being paid and exactly why very clearly is nice compared to some other games where you just kind of collect money and you're not sure how or why. Additionally, the shop menu is well thought out and perfectly informative.
Like the last game, this one starts out kind of slow as far as making money and upgrading goes.
The bonus shop is really cool, and incorporating it to work with Arcade is a great idea.
Anyway I played through it and it's a little lengthy for me, but it's still a 5/5 for what it is.
Good work.
The hit detection on the trees is pretty hardcore. The control isn't very good... You slow down to a stop when you're just slightly out of the center of the "track".
The graphics are decent... I'm just not a fan of the physics of the game at all...
5/10
