Getting very annoyed at the ice - if I just touch the edge of it but walk off again before I get up to speed on it, I'm stuck walking slow indefinitely, even on normal ground, until I find ice to walk on again.
needs more shortcut keys, especially one that will pause in the middle of battle. need a way to click on a target while paused so thunderbolts can be precisely directed. would really love a skill points reminder like there's a stats reminder, and to be able to click between windows without having to cancel and close things first.
When a city is under attack, it should show the icon for what that city produces (and therefore what you're likely to lose) so you can better decide if it's worth spending to defend it.
This might be the most color-blind-unfriendly game I've ever played. I'm only minorly afflicted, and don't usually have a lot of trouble, but here if I'm not staring closely I can only see 3 different block colors.
AI's a little too easy, and there's some balancing issues - I beat every mission by spamming the cheapest units. But the rotating field is an awesome concept and the game is great overall.
I already want to give this a 5, and I just discovered that the volume is a slider, not just a toggle between silent and too loud, which ought to be worth +1 more.
grindtastic. crazy amount of money required to be able to make decent money per jump. bosses are a welcome addition, but most people will probably get bored before they ever see one.
shitty AI. keep wanting to yell at my melee units - "Hold the goddamn line & let the archers do their job!"
halfway through the campaign and already getting grindtastic - should expect no less from this guy.
@wsargent1980: there's a valid argument for weakest first, when all the enemies eventually have regen - kill him before he negates the damage you've already put into him. but it's not reliably doing that either.
It's Toss the Turtle! Just.... crappier. There's no pickups in the air, and birds just slow you down, so why do I want to leave the ground?!? There's no fun toys in the upgrades. There's no incentive to get the achievements. Mostly boring.
If a boss is far enough off-screen that NPCs won't shoot at him, why are they aiming at him and waiting instead of shooting other stuff?
If a boss is far enough off-screen that even NPCs can't hit him, why is he able to damage me?
Have lost several hardcore rounds because I can't shoot back at what's damaging me and my teammates suddenly refuse to fire at ANYTHING. Feels really cheap.
Good point! This has just gone on the list for the release of Tile Factory 2 (coming soon).
