I love that when holding down mouse button you can move the mouse outside the game window and continue to aim. This is the first shooter game I've seen that lets you do that.

If you give a bonus because people never bother to upgrade the barrier, you have to actually say you have the bonus. Otherwise people won't find out because they don't upgrade the barrier.

Great first attempt! Better than many other developers 10th game. Looking forward to seeing more games from you in the future. Wouldn't mind badges on this

well its a good game but its way to easy, aim upgrade is not worth it, barricades only for early xp and well i like learning upgrades in every game but you probably don´t need it too. After all I had a lot of fun with a pretty short game. would give it 4/5 but because its your first game you get 5/5

It may sound like a small thing, but if you can come up with an in-game rational for the method of upgrades it can really make the experience more enjoyable. example: rather than having the character say the need to upgrade the damage, say instead the they need to buy bigger caliber guns, or hollow-point expanding bullets for their existing gun (which do more ripping and shredding 'damage' to a person). Small things like that help to keep the player inside the game-play world, and in my opinion help to keep the enjoyment factor up. Some times mediocre game-play can be be carried to 5 star status by good storytelling. This being said, for a first attempt this is a very good offering, and thank you for sharing it with us.

Maybe a new character could be firefighters in full gear - they'd be hard to kill, like riot police, but the oxygen tanks on their backs could explode if they take a direct hit and it could damage zombies around them.

Far away from the best shooting games, not bad anyway for a first game, the worst thing is not being able to zoom the game to play full screen. Nothing special, i played until the 8th level, just to check if there was something special except for boredom.

Really enjoyed the game, easy 5/5 for me. I'm very impressed that this is your first game. It's a lot better than most sequels that are out. But one improvement I thought of going off of the"Perks" that tzepesh666 mentioned, was how to unlock them. I noticed after completing a wave with perfect barricade health you get a golden skull. Maybe have a perk shop where every 3 gold skulls = 1 perk point. Here can be your first perk, "Bottom barrel blues: The last shot in the magazine will always shoot for double damage." Or some bonuses like that that will help throughout the game. I hope to see a sequel soon.

If you ever make a new one, more weapons is always stuff people like:) But still, fun game regardless. The upgrade system does work the same way a new weapon upgrade would, you shoot faster and harder as you improve. But people like the look and feel of new stuff:) Giving it 4 stars in anycase!

I beat the game and now I'm sad.
This is a great game, can't wait for 2.0. all the suggestions i have read in the comments are great, new guns and a bit harder and/or more levels would be great too.

Awesome game for a first game beat pretty quickly hope your second game will be bigger nothing to complain about loved it.

great game, kong needs to add some achievements, and I agree with the statement that maybe it could've used some bonus features perhaps? and maybe a few bonus rounds for getting all twenty eight levels perfect.

Seeing as its the dev's first game, a lot can be forgiven considering that it is still far better than a lot of crap on here. That being said, I agree with many of the earlier comments. It needs guns, but also it needs more "money/xp" I like to have all my upgrades out of the way before the last few stages or nearly all at the very least. I found myself having to grind levels over and over to get enough xp for the next upgrade, this being long after I upgraded "learning" and "barricade" to max. I could only imagine how much more grinding would be needed if there were more items to unlock or level up. Good relaxing game the cartoonish zeds were a nice touch. 4/5

for me, very very repetitive. Didn't like it. It need guns, the proper point of a killing game. Will wait for devs upgrades.

Good game. Would be better if there were different weapons, more zombie types and a more in depth upgrade system. Still, good job on your first game :)

@GiuseppeD The color of the stage changes from incomplete to complete to flawless, when you finish without your barricade taking damage.
This is a good game, and an excellent one for a first endeavor. The only criticism I can make is putting the mute for sound and music on the same button. Very well done.

Really good game. Nice graphics, not to hard neither to easy, and even if many people suggest to add more stuff, i find the simplicity so nice and relaxing. To me, it's a great relaxing game, and if in future you decide to do another similar with more stuff and make it more hardcore, i'll accept the challenge gladly.

I rarely comment on games here, but I feel the need to on this particular game. Congratulations on your first game, and I am looking forward to many more from you. The game was not challenging, didn't make me curse, and didn't make me quit albeit easy, I enjoyed the game. I liked the fact that you made the player keep the pistol, only gun to be used, and upgrade it. Nice. The zombies could have been a bit harder, perhaps on the next game add a difficulty option. If a sequel was made it would be cool if the zombies got harder as you leveled up the players, kind of balance the ratio of easy/hard. Then you could throw in a couple of different weapons and perhaps survivors to help you out. Most games like this end up like The Last Stand, which isn't bad because it is an excellent game. Good job with throwing a female in to the hero spot as well, not many people do that. Keep up the good work and make another game!
