If I were to edit it to make it more playable, first thing I'd do is make the backgrounds go bye-bye, since they're far too distracting at the speed they move (slow down the front part of the background). Then, I'd change the purple-flashy bullets to red-flashy bullets (did you even take physics?) and make sure all monster guts go to the background and be green or grey. I'd also probably make certain enemies smaller. My regular monsters (the orange gargoyles and red pufferfish) should not be as large as my bosses. The boss monster kill spell arrows should be different colors - it's hard to tell ← and → apart. The dudes should have some priority of spawning (for example, if I'm low on health, a health dude should spawn, not a mana one when my mana is already full).

Many issues…
Sometimes enemies get stuck by tentacle. Indestructible, irremovable. If they're shooters, they keep shooting, even during the transitions. The game gets laggy quickly. When you press up it makes the jump sound. It still does then when you're flying. When you turn the laser plants into sheep, it keeps firing.
Immersion problems. It's not too bad, as bad as any other game of this nature. However, final boss is inexcusable. Do EVERY mission in order to even FIGHT this thing without being instakilled!?
Each monster is unique and interesting, and the graphics and music are OK. But iin the third area, projectiles, enemies, and powerups all blend into an indiscernible mess.
Smaller issues: Can’t create own controls. Both that are given are ok, but some might complain. The dudes and the books MUST be bought in ORDER. A tiny bit irritating. Some of the missions are a bit misleading, namely the coin collection.
Not bad, but needs work. 3 stars.

Minor/Major glitch (depending), occasionally an enemy gets stuck back by the tentacle holding your gf. It's fine if it's one of those bouncing crab...things, but if it's one of those tiny shooters from the second area, then you're screwed. Especially so due to being frozen between boss areas, as it doesn't go away, and it keeps shooting. I was at full health (3, due to not upgrading yet), and the little bugger killed me off before I even layed eyes on the boss...during the transfer.

I really like hellish theme. 4/5. The music and the background are the same in all 3 areas, I think that made the game somewhat boring. You could make area 1 the forest, area 2 the sky, and area 3 space. The music could change accordingly. That way we don't just end up in the middle of space randomly after travelling through the forest for the whole game.

It would also be nice to be able to turn off upgrades. Or the game could automatically not drop gold once you've bought everything, dropping more magic points, fuel, or health instead. By the endgame, not only is gold useless, it's just more clutter on the screen.

Seriously with that relic of the elders crap? This game went from 5/5 to 1/5 because of it. I've already grinded and replayed this game enough by the time I got to that point. That forced restart only put the late-game tedium nail in the coffin.

i cant cpmplete the game. when i come to last boss i am stuck and cannot move at all. it just go straight ahead and 1 shot me. any suggestion here??

Cool game aside fRom the clutter. Some enemies are the same color as bullets, others the same as the drops, while some are the color of the weaponomicons. Some things chase us, some things we have to chase. It's all chaos. Can't see a damn thing starting on stage 3. Can we at least have an option to turn off the blood/explosions/flying body parts animations? They're cute, we just really need less stuff moving on the screen.

Ability to see game cutscenes again? No clue what this story's about, that I just spent the last 3 days beating.
This game is well put together and enjoyably difficult. Could be I just suck but this is one of the most fluid games I've played for a while, the control scheme fits just right, the music is good, and the game and art give a fun feel to the game. 5/5

Great game, I really enjoyed the implementation of the combos at the end of the bosses. It's a pretty small part of the game, but it added a good amount of fun :D (I grew up with combo games)

so the buffs get MORE useless as you progress?? the tentacles allow enemies thru that you are powerless to kill - there are no buffs allowed in the boss fights? your auto fire shuts off in the final boss - i flew around two minutes before i realized it was a glitch and not a curse -- and TOO MUCH ANIMATION

The inability to continue through the tutorial popups without the mouse is very annoying as you require two hands on the keyboard to play. So that makes the user pop his/her hand back and forth between the keyboard and mouse. Something to look into.

Why would you make a game with bullet-hell aspects and then cap your speed at a frustratingly slow limit where it's not possible to dodge the huge, indestructable bullets?

Here is the final boss! However, you cannot fight him because you have not run 600 meters along the ground without firing for some unexplainable reason at the hordes of demonic mosters yet. Once you have completed this worthless and stupid task, you shall be given a relic which will take off the final boss's shield. Until then, just enjoy the sight of your extremely stupid character standing frozen in front of a charging death laser every time you confront the boss. Please finish the last mission, and you will suddenly be given the blessing of being able to move out of the way of a slow-charging, forward-pointing laser.

Double jumping should activate flight.
Also, the "keep the person playing your game as long as possible" philosophy should not translate to: make them complete a million achievements before they can even try to fight the final boss...annoying.

PLEASE give a separate mute button for SFX and music, this is supposed to be standard in games at this point. Still love the game though.

Gameplay is too easy. Still, I appreciate the aesthetics and creativity. The Intro and Outro were all comic style cutscenes which gave the impression that it has the potential of being a webcomic.

Seriously, get rid of the "3 missions at a time" system: it was meant with something else in mind, not for a game where mission completion is compulsory. I just can't be bothered playing the game again and again and again and having to do everything a hundred times over because of that system. 3/5

After you defeat a mini-boss, if you're flying while the screen changes to the next level, you'll keep losing fuel as it changes.

i dont know whats going on but i cant even play :( when the opening screen comes up with the option for which type of controls you want to use i click the side with the arrow keys and nothing happens...

Bug report:
An enemy stone spawned during the final boss cutscene and damaged me.
The boss became invincible and would not take any damage
(however the tentacles could still be damaged)

I wish I wouldn't have to press K every time i restart the run. It's an unneccessary drag. The same with autofire. I'd like to enable it on start and let it work. :)

On the last level when a whole lot of enemies are on screen, my shots seem to start missing enemies and fly right through them, which makes it a bit harder because then more enemies pile up making the effect even worse!

The fact that I have to have completed each mission before being able to play against the final boss is one of these gating mechanics which I can see no other purpose behind other than pissing off the player, certainly worked for me -.-

One of the saddest moments was when I died after beating the big fish guy for the first time and realized I had to go back and start from the very beginning and go through him again. Beating a boss should mean something.

Combo does not work. I kill the first boss, do the right combo and band boss life becomes full again and so it goes on to infinity.
