“Lore: A Tale of a Sword and Those Who Wielded it.” Inspired by fantasy RPGs and some of their tropes, it’s a branching narrative about a peculiar enchanted sword and the people who encounter it.
I didn’t want to attempt an epic tale. It’s more like a set of little stories that seem as if they could possibly lead up to an epic. And it is not a game, but it does depend on reader choices (and it produces rather delayed consequences of those choices). It has three overall endings and a number of secondary outcomes.

This game looks like it could be something great. Finish off the story, and add more choices and you'll have a legitimate game. But you should specify it's a demo/pre-release in the title
)
I'll definitely do that. I have the story in mind already, it just takes a while for me to write it as I do not have a lot of free time.

There's beginning to be far too many alpha and pre-alpha releases on this site.
That's because people really don't want to spend a lot of time to make a game only to find out that it sucks. That's why developers would rather upload an unfinished product and make sure that the players like it, before finishing it.

This is only a demo, you don't get to make any choices, just get to read the text. Hopefully one day, they will add more content, so it is more than just an unfinished short story.
