Description

Steel and Claw est un roguelike dungeon crawler multijoueur passionnant mêlant deckbuilding, qui vous met au défi d’explorer un donjon forestier et de repousser vos limites. Choisissez votre propre chemin pour naviguer à travers les dangers du donjon. Partez en solo pour affronter les profondeurs seul, ou faites équipe avec d’autres pour former un groupe redoutable. Jusqu’où irez-vous dans le donjon ? Lancez-vous dans une aventure épique avec Steel and Claw et découvrez-le !

Comment jouer

Terminez le jeu en traversant la forêt et en affrontant ou évitant les groupes d’ennemis errants. Progressez jusqu’aux donjons et battez-les. Coopérez avec d’autres joueurs pour nettoyer les 4 donjons de morts-vivants et vaincre la carte. Avancez dans chaque donjon en cliquant sur une salle connectée. Les salles d’élite proposent des combats plus difficiles mais offrent de meilleures récompenses. Les salles deviennent plus difficiles à mesure que vous avancez dans le donjon et selon le nombre de joueurs présents. Les salles ont aussi une « obscurité » : chaque fois qu’une salle est terminée et qu’un prix est pris, l’obscurité augmente, rendant la salle plus dure. Terminer une salle sans prendre de récompense réinitialise l’obscurité. Les morts de joueurs réinitialisent aussi l’obscurité… Mais personne ne veut ça ! En combat : faites glisser les cartes sur les ennemis, vous-même ou vos amis pour effectuer l’action indiquée. Les cartes affichent un coût en énergie et leur type : Attaque, Défense, Bonus ou Malus, ainsi qu’une description de leur effet. Lorsque vous n’avez plus d’énergie (en bas à droite) ou de cartes, terminez votre tour. Au début du tour suivant, vous piochez des cartes dans votre deck.

Greater Sacrificial Cleave cost increased but does more base damage.
AP and DP training capped at 2
Poisoned Fumes and Deadly Poisoned Fumes have been buffed.
Increasing Strike and Greater Increasing Strike have been buffed.
Fortitude buffed to match description.
Quick Enrage reduced from 50% to 25%

Toads and Turtles Buffed
Room scaling changed at 60, 80, 100, 120

Dungeons can potentially generate wider at deeper levels (careful pathfinding has the chance to avoid dangerous paths)

I thought Kong was dead and only checked it on a whim, and I was awestruck by this. People are still making great games on Kong!!! Despite the black and white figures on coloured graphics looking a bit odd, I gave it a shot. Very surprised and very impressed. As Caton says, this game has big potential. The multiplayer component is very unique. It's weirdly imbalanced, since a team of 4 coordinated friends will steamroll through, whereas a solo player will have a much more difficult time progressing, but... I don't dislike it, weirdly enough. If the game gets traction, you could have a "solo mode", and of course, if there are too many players, you'll need multiple instances anyway, but I like the novelty. The game does get a bit repetitive though. I reached level 94 with another player and gameplay felt very samey, but I understand that the game is still very early in development, so more content is coming. Keep up the good work!

The game has big potential. It needs some extra balancing though. For example, I was killed by an Elite spider which was webbing me twice per turn till a point where I didn't draw any cards per turn which rendered me completely defenseless to his attacks. Other than the balancing I don't see any other major flaws for the game, combats are intriguing, drawings are nice, upgrade system is great. 4 out of 5 from me on this one.

Thanks very much for the feedback! I too have been an unfortunate victim of the spider web debuff. It used to be a big problem (the spider web debuff card could be re-used and they were applying it over and over.) Now I've left them with two in their inventory and they expire on first use. But I could still see it being a problem if you get unlucky. (It happened to me the other night with multiple spiders at a time, but I was ready for it) I'll knock it down to one. Still an interesting mechanic and it will provide some pain without being not-fun. This change will be applied in the next lull in server traffic :)
