After a few tries at the EHUP to no avail, I decided that the pont of the puzzle was that it was impossible, and you just need to let some things go. Feeling satisfied, I went downstairs with the doctor and completed the story. Only after I looked at the badge list did I realize I'm just bad at puzzle games.

Games that are heavy on story (a very well-written story especially) should not have levels like 4-4 that permanently stop the progression due to being ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING.

You can interact with the rings you blow by moving close to them. Doing so allows you to push them around, which is how you complete the EHUP challenge.

some very nice HIDDEN smoke movement dynamics, also the 2-6 is neither mentioned about being able to use the double jump IF first fall of a ledge then try to jump 5/5 (story, puzzle challenge, ect)

Great game, indeed. In fact, it struck home quite remarkably in that the main character blissfully forgets his experiences that which most people would find rather memorable- forgetting being one of my greatest fears.

BADGE OF THE DAY: this is how to beat the "Extra Hard Upstairs Puzzle": shoot a smoke ring and quickly run to the target, you will carry the smoke ring with you.

You only get 3 stars, because the careful timing required for blowing smoke rings is a royal pain. It's a good game otherwise, but you REALLY should just allow people to click a button to blow the rings - either that, or don't make them so essential!

Knowing how The Company of Myself ends, this game only feels sadder. Good job. So simple, yet so moving.
Here, have a Vegosiux seal of approval.

in 5th row 4th level, you dont need him. stand on the vanishing platform, blow the ring to the sensor from there, and jump right.

Oh, man...what a journey this was...no idea what kept me going...so frustrating...very nearly quit at 3-5, so incredibly counterintuitive...would've appreciate a few hints, don't even need a walkthrough, crazy...don't like the levels where you have to constantly blow smoke and inch ahead or you get zapped...aggravating...just on the absolute razor's edge of throw-something-at-the-monitor insane...could barely follow what point it was supposedly making...must've taken me three hours...headache...body aches...need to lie down...3/5.

I kind of liked this one, the plot was still pretty terrible (makes me think of modern art) but the game was generally a lot more fun than the first one. The only complaint I would have about gameplay is that too much of the difficulty is tied up in the smoke ring mechanism. Some of the puzzles were genuinely hard, but some of them were only hard because you had to click for precisely the right amount of time three or four times in a row and that part felt like playing guitar hero which is not what I am personally looking for in a game. Overall probably 3.5/5

How to do Triumph Over EHUP - Its at 3-1 section where the psychologist talks about "the puzzle". Simply blow smoke ring from smoke free zone and run toward the EHUP. Smoke ring gets pushed, so formerly unreachable reach can be reached!

Well, I said I'd write a short story about these characters. And so I did. This story takes places between 'Fixation' and 'The Company of Myself.' Enjoy. http://eddieandrews.blogspot.com/2012/05/medication-short-story.html

I'm on level 3-3 and didn't use any codes to get here. Should that mean I've got past the EHUP? I haven't got the Badge of the Day yet...

Found a bug in the game, thought that you'd like to know. When I played through the game again, starting from the last level where we see the magician leave the screen, there is a ghost character that you can move around the screen. I'm assuming that it comes in where you fall down in the level before. You can actually walk around, and you can tell where you're going by the clouds of dust from the ground. However, if you decide to go down the hole that the magician would fall down, you'll end up dying. Not only that, but because you fell down from that direction, when you "respawn," you'll end up falling down the hole and dying in a sort of inescapable infinite loop, causing you to never be able to finish the game without refreshing the screen. Thought you'd like to know.

Everything is PERFECT except one thing: eyes get tired too quickly because the bubbles with text are moving with characters. It's a little bit hard to read. :(

Constructive criticism Warning: Glitchy control on the smoke rings if I do say so myself timing was not quite constant. and dialog was a little too pushed. but otherwise good game.
