so i already have the badges, but i came back to this game just to try to prove to myself "man that was such a long time ago when i beat this... i bet it's not even that hard, i probly just rly sucked at flash games back then, i bet i could get through this game like nothing if i tried it again" ...boy was i wrong, this game is just as frustrating as the first time playing it

I didn't have that much trouble getting the medium badge,but I will probably NEVER earn the other ones,because the hardest thing in this game are the controls which absolutely suck for precision platforming like landing on tiny platforms and it just feels so slippery when you try to move just a little bit,but instead you end up running off the platform right into death.

I played Super Meat Boy before I tried this and I have to say that this game has horrendous response times when it comes to registering what key you pressed.
My jumps don't register 15% of the time, and the frame rate is extremely choppy.
3/5 Just because I'm a fan of Edmund's games :)

I've gotten all the band-aids, and beaten every level except 3-13: Six Six Six, including most of the Expert levels on the first try. But I swear, that level 2-3: Salt Falls is one of the hardest levels in the entire game. If you just started playing this and find yourself frustrated at this early level in the 2nd world no less(!), don't feel bad, it is tough.

It's really not the game that's so hard, it's the controls. It's like they're over responsive AND under responsive. You just go flying all over the place.

Ironic how one of the hardest games has one of the easiest medium badges: 7 minutes. And it can be done in half the time. Another game I played took me 4.5 hours to get the medium badge. I won't be playing this much more because I have Super Meat Boy.

"Meat boy is hard!" Yeah if you make the controls just unprecise enough, that people will tolerate it, but still have to try over and over again for a good jump. That "difficulty" could easily be fixed.

Press your Esc key instead of clicking go back to avoid unwanted pop up windows. nothing against newgrounds just hate uninvited windows opening.

The Hot Coffee ending had Meatboy having sex with Meatgirl. That's what was so bad about it. Oh, and he exploded at the end.
