Under rating threshold (show) an empty house, an empty tomb, empty ruins, palaces, and factories. No people, just remnants of them covered in dust, slowly rotting away. Nothing but notes. I should know by now not to get my hopes up, but the notes always promise a way out. But they never keep those promises. Just how long will this nightmare last... Actually, I hope these games never end! If games are art, this would be my first example. keep up the great work!

Under rating threshold (show) Dec. 16, 2010 Would be nice, if the game is saved BEFORE I enter the green portal, not WHILE I enter it. now it does. changed that to your needs.

Under rating threshold (show) Once another fantastic Submachine game. The absolute number 1 point and click adventure game of the internet. And even though this series is getting long, I am still impressed by this game. The music, the graphics style. Everything. 6/5, please keep let this series live on.

Under rating threshold (show) love these games, but boy are they dark! Things are really hard to see. Agree that a save before the green portal would be nice so we could go back to find the secrets

Under rating threshold (show) ******SPOILER ALERT****** In case anyone was wondering, the tokens are not useless at all. At the beginning, right after you've placed the key card into the slot thing and pulled down the level to disable the force field, you take the light bulb that you just turned off. Then, at the end of the game, after you exit the pod and go right, you go down the stairs, put your light bulb in the thing and then go left and click on the karma portal. You will be transported to a room where you can use your tokens to see some extra things about how the maker made the game. + if helpful.

Under rating threshold (show) What a great game! The atmosphere is fantastic! I really felt like being there. Imagine really being there! That would be incredibly frightening! *Nobody* else there, but letters. No idea how to ever get home. No idea who you even are, and why you are there. In a world that just doesn’t work like your expect things to work. If this game needs one thing, it is *full screen*, with nothing to distract, and all other lights off! Then you’d shìt bricks! ^^

Under rating threshold (show) You should change cursor when it comes to switching screens not picking objects. When close to the edge you do not know if this is something you can use or just path to another location. And I think that this limits the item placement options as they can't appear near the screen edges.

Under rating threshold (show) The Submachine series is absolutely incredible. I feel like it is the pinnacle of point-and-click adventure. It is eerie and immersive, with challenging-but-not-impossible puzzles, beautiful graphics and phenomenal sound effects. I can't say enough good things about it, it's the one series I return to again and again. I even bought 1-8 when they were available for purchase as a HQ download. They're incredible.

Under rating threshold (show) I started playing this series as a little brain exercise fun, but now I find that this series is much more than that. Such beautiful surreal artwork, and very Riven-esque, the map puzzle.

Under rating threshold (show) Oh, so THAT'S what you do with the glowing box! In the wisdom-gem powered gate on the winter palace side, go left to the 4 doors, go through the 3rd door from the left, and place the glowing box in the square hole in the monolith all the way to the right. One of the runes that you need to enter in the code box in the great hall will appear on the monolith.

Under rating threshold (show) @ nield; the tokens are hidden. There are five of them, but I only found two : the one at the base of a flowerpot to the right of the statue that says "be the witness of your thoughts", and the one in a huge crack between the window at the top of the spiral stairs and the room with the four portal switches. You use the tokens in a place you reach by going down asap once exiting the pod, then left (you must pull a lever in a room above).

Under rating threshold (show) Yes! Another submachine! My only concern is the fact that it is unclear exactly how the stone keys fit in the grid, either the note is very hard to find or it is guesswork what order to put the three sets of 6x6 in.

Under rating threshold (show) I loved it. It's as simple as that. Though, I do have a question. MateuszSkutnik, I know you're likely not the type to give out info on Submachine's story, but will we ever meet Murtaugh or Elizabeth - or anyone, for that matter - in person? I was always wondering why we haven't seen any sentient life in the games you've done so far. I mean, we're bogged from head to toe with evidence of their existence, but it always seems that everyone around leaves as soon as we get there (according to the documents, it seems).

Dec. 16, 2010

Under rating threshold (show) The only fault with these games is I have to go back and play the last one to remember what's happening, and then, because I don't understand what's happening there, I have to play the one before that. Ever time you release a new one, I end up playing the whole series over again just to figure out what the new one is about. Curse you MateuszSkutnik! Curse you and your addictive games!
