Amazing little puzzle game! The last puzzle specially, cuz I never seen anything like that before. My only complaint is that whenever I'm clicking to solve the puzzle, Red keeps getting in from of the screen where I clicked. It can get a bit annoying, but not much. All in all, it's a great game. Some puzzle were a bit convoluted at first, but not too many. I'd say 2, and only near the end, but that doesn't affect my rating of 5 stars.

half a million plays and only 3.99 rating. Come on, let's get this to five stars, in these last few flickering days of Kong

@Hommeldraak - you have to find the two that are exactly alike. If you click two that aren't, it'll shuffle them; it's the same one LaHades responded about.

Idk if I'm experiencing a bug or I'm just stupid, can someone DM me the answer? Left room, one down from the top, green key. I don't understand the puzzle and the walkthrough doesn't help me either...

@caravanriot/Atracotoxin: In the room below the west tower, you should have two shields (not more, not less) that are completely identical. Don't look at the video walkthrough too closely, you won't need the two shields that are selected there, as the puzzles are a bit randomized.
Tbh this was the (only) puzzle that confused me as well at first. I thought the Monty Python references were funny, but in that room the 'one green pear' wordplay (now I know it means 'find the peer') wasn't helpful for a non-native speaker. xD

The last quest was really difficult while the previous one was really easy and the one before that was really difficult too.

Why should red (yellow?) be able to move? Any reason other than to annoyingly stand in the way of the cursor? It's been 9 years tho, the game aged well enough.

I'm having the same problem as Atractoxin. "I cant get the upper left green key. From the needed shields just exist one."

My biggest challenge came from having my brightness turned down pretty low so that when there was writing on the wall, I never saw it. Played yesterday, adjusted the brightness back down where I like it, now have 75 scoops of sand in a bucket and need to drag most of them back out.

Somelane - it's a pattern among the shields. The top-right and bottom-left become what the previous one's top-left and bottom-right were, while the other two spots become the next color in the sequence (which is blue, since there are only four colors).

Last level was frustrating enough to just quit the game after hours of playing. Not enjoyable like the rest of the levels.

I don't know what can you see on this game... It's filled by random average puzzles which do not make any story or any progress. There is almost no story at all, the music is the same the whole game, no surprising twists. The gameplay was boring.

the shield pairing game, doesn't work for me I click on the only pairing and it doesn't make them disappear nor do I get the key, a little help please , I lowered my rating down from three stars (because I couldn't give it a three and a half star rating) down to one just till some one can help me figure out the glitch.

My only complaint is that you cannot get a perfect score on your first run, you must continue playing to get a perfect. Otherwise, I love this little game. What a fun mish-mash of pop-culture and puzzle mechanics.

there is a bug after the match room if you choose the bottom one, grab the key and leave the room it softlocks the game

The guitar piece is not an original composition by John Sayes. It is a real renaissance lute song called Lachrimae, or 'Flow My Tears', composed by the great John Dowland (1562–1626). He was a formidable lutenist and worked in the court of Queen Elizabeth I. I've played a solo rendition of the song on classical guitar, it's ablolutely marvelous stuff. Here's another nice version: https://youtu.be/jkRrzAo9Wl4 .

Undortunately it seems the sun puzzle has a different default for everyone cause mine has a totally different start from the walkthrough one and just tired me to hell ..

Funny how the thumnail picture of the walkthough is exactly the reason why im started looking it .. Those damn sun black line circles made my brain explode ..

I find this a bit frustrating. While clever, many of these puzzles have no hints or even the vaguest suggestions as to what to do. I don't expect my hand to be held, but I also don't expect the guy who is supposed to make the puzzles logical be already eating muffins. Monty Python reference was pretty cool though :)

I have a red key, a yellow key, but to go to the top floor I need a blue key... And all other rooms are solved and empty - no key to get. The second chest in the room with two big circles and two chests was empty after solving the puzzle. So what now?
