So happy they made an achievement for this! But it's hardly hard. First time trying had almost 9k kills. Great game though!

Ally asteroids stop rotating when they are at the minimum distance. This lets you keep them from flying away on the mine levels... which would be bad. :)

wow, massive increase from the last version. Only, the ally asteroids don't seem to rotate, as the upgrade suggests. very amusing game. 4/5

The game seems fun and good :)
However: Congratulations, your game is one of the few, (so far, 3) game (flash based) that crash my browser (mozilla firefox) AND computer, making it reset or freeze. What is the problem? I don't know but would really wanna know how to fix it. One of the 3 was the sparky thing that got featured. Solutions? :(

That was refreshing change from the standard asteroids. Lots of nice power-ups, but you make the user decide. I like being able to play on my strengths.
Can't think of any negatives. Good job!

Wow, much better than that old version. I love the powerups, and the different enemy types, the graphics, gameplay, everything. Fantastic game! Hope you make more :D
5 stars.

If you like the game please digg it. I won't get anything for this (well maybe a few extra $'s in ad revenue) but it can bring a lot of exposure to Kongregate and new people. :)
Asteroids fighting back... has good potential for a dig story.

Hi Danielo, as soon as you start the game you can do to the menu and adjust the music volume and sound effects volume independently. The game will remember your settings (saves to a sharedObject) so you won't have to change them again.

Looks like worth a shot, but I have music playing in another tab, and I can't silence this application, so I'm on to the next game...

I agree with a lot of these comments. Basically, you have a great tutorial here with some fantastic play mechanics. Now, go into a full game with 50+ levels, spread out the power-ups, and give some more puzzles and variety. Fantastic mechanics here, just needs to be developed into a full-length game! Still, a 5/5. :-) 6/5 if you make it longer.

This is a pretty fun game. I like how it walks you through the different types of enemies, but there should be more levels after you know all the enemies. The boss was a little confusing because I just seemed to bounce off him and it appeared like I wasn't hurting him. Maybe there could be a gauge for the boss showing how much life he has left.

This game is super fun, and a very original take on almost three decades of "asteroid" games. I've never seen one like it before. The replayability factor is definitely there. I would love to see it made into a longer game with new and different ships. The core concept is a winner, though. 5/5 stars.

Thanks SirMustapha :)
However, why is an innocent rock the bad guy? What did the asteroids ever do the humans... maybe even a favour considering the whole whiping the dinosaurs off the planent thing.
[I do know what you meant] :)

Great way of adding freshness to a classic formula. Not that the "controlling the bad guys" formula wasn't invented way before this, but in this case, it worked extremely well. The slickness of the graphics really enhances the gameplay, makes it feel very natural and pleasant, and the new elements add much challenge as they come. Very worthy addition to the website. This gets a 5.

Thanks guys! I appreciate all the positive feedback and reviews!
At this rate I will definitely consider a AR4 (or an extended version of 3 with more levels)
One thing I was purposely going for was a short fun experience. There is a bit of replay if you want to go with a different development path or try for one of the high scores. But nothing you will spend hours and hours of your time on (like I have with DTD and others).
Short sweet and fun with a fond memory is exactly what I was hoping for!

I agree it deserves a badge. Its a great game especially for the old original asteroid players. I just want it to be longer.

gaaaah! one little ship away from beating the boss!!!! fun game. neat idea, plenty of power-ups to keep it interesting.
