ok i love the game but i just hit the go buton on the home run map and it looked the same after the 3rd comp made his move but then i started hereing astroids hitting ground and it annoyed me D:

Plot doesn't seem very logical, gameplay is a little repetitive, especially mashing on the attack button, which could have used a keyboard shortcut. But I had fun :)

Pretty easy. All you need to do is surround the crystals with factories, upgrade them to refineries, and you're golden.
Use speed towers for your defense, with a few death beam towers ot keep snow at bay. Then you can just focus on slowing down your opponents with the Air Base and Gravity Well.

ncookie, you have to unlock upgrades through buying them with gold by clicking "Towers" on the top of the screen when on the map during campaign mode.

I think it needs a speed up option. It goes by veerrryyy slow sometimes... Maybe more towers. And an option to expand the area.

Has potential, but it doesn't feel like you playtested this game at all. All of the upgrades feel like you're buying essentials where you should instead be buying advantages, but the campaign is so short you can only buy what you NEED before you win. Then the actual stages are so stupidly short that there's litterally no point to offense; crippling your enemy in the last 20 seconds of play isn't really going to do much good, and the attacks are so cripplingly expensive you have to choose between a death ray vs destroying maybe 1-2 buildings of ONE of the SEVERAL enemies.

frag cannons are definitely best for destroying asteroids quickly for points. but you need lasers to stop ice attacks.

Definitely a well built game (i.e. a lot of good time was put into it) but the game play is very monotonous. You simply build factories, flak cannons, gravity wells, repeat. No strategy whatsoever once you figure that out. 3/5 for effort.
FYI: regarding my previous comment. I found out that lasers don't reach all the way to the top so you can never destroy the astroids fast enough with lasers. You need the other cannons that can reach to the top so that you can quickly destroy the astroids and can spawn new ones. Leaves really only one valid strategy for the game. :-/

i have it upgraded all to "frost attack cost half" and it now cost 1100 originally cost 500

Interesting game. Well designed but kinda slow and it repeats itself way too early and way too often.
Easiest way to beat this game is to get frag cannons and only frag cannons. Upgrade your cannon damage, factory production and then starting money. From there all you need to do is create 4 to 5 factories upgraded, 8 cannon towers upgraded to max frag and then the rest gravity pools. Your frag cannons with upgraded damage will destroy all waves faster then anything and even attack the enemy sent waves. You from there can just pick your targets and send wave after wave of asteroids at them. I can effectively destroy all 3 enemy bases in every game.
The problem I have with this game is that if you are getting attacked by 2 or more you always lose a planet. I'll destroy all 3 of them yet they always manage to take 1 of 2 planets being attacked. I find that really stupid.

frag towers are definitely best for asteroids, but better have at least 1 laser to deal with ice attacks. the trick is that you have to destroy every asteroid in each wave to make the next wave of asteroids appear-which is important to get more points than the others!

Nice game :)
Read in-game help! You must attack your enemies in order to win. Just finished first campaign - quiet entertaining! But from what i noticed - 6xCANNON upgraded to frag, then to blast cannon will keep you totally safe! No need for more defenses - only blast cannons. Put 2x gravity well and 2x hangars. Wait till all attacks are charged and you have cash. Attack one enemy at a time with all at once!

This game makes no sense whatsoever. On my very first round, no matter how I upgrade my towers/techs and how I place my towers, even if I clear every asteroid thrown at me, I always wind up last. Is this game *designed* to discourage playing it?

yeahiwin - are you sure you are looking at asteroids destroyed, and not the bonus cash, which is based on number of planets you own plus a small bonus for winning a level
