Okay, so my last comment was a little tongue in cheek, so here are some real comments. I enjoy the game a great deal, and have already spent too much time playing it, so kudos for that. That having been said, the amount of player information is limited at best. You give the player practically no feedback when they've been hit, except for a brief flashing of the health bar, which is not where the player's attention should be directed. Have the ship flash, or make a sound or something to let the player know. Same with grazes. I had to turn the music off just to hear the tiny little "tick" noise it makes whenever I graze. Some sort of visual confirmation would be nice as well. Lastly, the one-pixel hitbox would be nice, as it is REALLY hard to not get hit on bosses, even with the focus ship.

Really nice bullethell game. Its biggest flaw is that you have to guess how big your hitbox is (complicated by different ship shapes), which makes dodging all bullets on bosses almost impossible. An option to turn on a short period of invicibility after a hit would be nice (basically an "easy mode"), since getting hit by any of the later bosses combos means pretty much instant death by multi-hit bursts.

Ugrade bullet damage by killing things with bullets. Upgrade laser damage by killing things with lasers. Upgrade bomb damage by not... using bombs?

I've beated level 25, and I have to say a few things. First of all, the rocket weapom seems to be the best weapon in the game, even though it's only the second weapon you unlock. Also, the bosses ave a lot of HP. I don't even bother trying to beat the boss run, because in there all bosses have a sick amount of HP. It also seems like the requirements for achievements are a little bit imbalanced. Some take lots of grinding to max out. I do have to admit I still really love this game, and for all of the beautiful things I still give this game a 5/5. Update this game a bit, and it will get badges for sure.

Very nice. 2 complaints: Your hitbox is too big -- should be 1 pixel. And Plasma weapon's range is too short to be at all useful.
As far as the code is concerned, the hitbox is 0.5 pixels. And plasma is intended to be a high-risk weapon. Don't use it if you can't get close enough.

Give us more focus or make Slo-mo more effective with less focus consuming. I get easily killed by Bosses, even If I use Slo-mo... By the way good game! 5/5

Also gave up on Hyperion. Way too much HP. I've tried fully upgraded versions of almost every combination I can think of and I simply can't survive him long enough.

I do not like the level after the 5th ("final") boss. Enemies' health amounts became horrendously excessive and things got a little repetitive. Or perhaps I just shouldn't have attempted to complete the entire game in one sitting. Either way, it's been fun so far. Voted 5/5.

I really like this game, it has everything a nice shooter/upgrade/bullet hell game should have. Although I have to say
1. I'm not sure about this, but you should mention how big your hitbox is. Because this IS a bullet hell game, a 1-pixel hitbox is standard.
2. Bosses have too much health comparing to your forever- the-same weapons. Higher grade weapons should do more damage.
3. Plasma's range is too short, hardly usable on bosses.
4. Boss number 5 is a pain.
5. On the same note, since Boss number 5 is barely beatable, I don't find it possible to not get hit at all fighting it.
Other than that, awesome game! (I'm a nice person, so I'll just give it a 5/5 anyway :P)
1. The hitbox is 0.5 pixels (radius). 2. Bosses are meant to be lengthy. Late game weapons aren't necessarily more powerful than earlier weapons intentionally. I wanted each weapon type to be useful in a different situation. 3. Plasma's a high-risk weapon. If you're skilled enough to get close without getting hit, it's quite effective. 4/5. In my opinion, the 5th boss's attacks are easier to dodge consistently than the 4th's. It's just a matter of knowing the safe spots/maneuvers.

Most of the bosses are way to hard, (when you first encounter them) and I get lag from all the projectiles on the screen.
I nerfed Hyperion somewhat, since so many people complained about him. I guess I've just played it so much he doesn't pose much of a challenge to me anymore.

Definitely digging the Techno! Great game, a nice addition to the already great Sidescroller Shooter Genre. Great job!

So I can sell my warp core for 3,000,000 credits?!? Done! Wait now I can't finish the game... You might want to remove the option to sell the warp core. Unless I am missing how to get it back.
You can't get it back, but it's possible to beat the game without it. It doesn't actually do anything until the late-late stage of the game, i.e. beating every boss with it. And if you can do that, well, you just beat it!

Fun, but the background ruined the game. You should make a background more friendly to the colours of the ships (I can barely see the red ships with that background and all the bullets moving, and it was too annoying for me to keep playing).
You should stick to a background that fits the graphic style of the fractal ships.

The problem with the last boss fight is that he has a attack where if you move, you get killed. You have to stay still, BUT if the boss is too close when he uses that attack, your screwed. Ive gotten the boss to just a little bit of health several times, only to die from that attack.

Very well done! I love the layout of the screens for the labs and upgrades. Very easy to navigate through everything. The graphics are great and so is the music. Great job!
