All these people that have 0 deaths on insane cheated. They should have their fingers smashed with a hammer so they can feel the pain the rest of us have! Ow, carpal tunnel...

Okay.
This is a beautiful game with simple but amusing graphics, and a nice simple plot that ends very happily. Some have analysed it to be considerably symbolic as well. The gameplay, though, needs some work.
The randomness factor needs to be toned WAY down. The various obstacles one comes across should go along a much more consistent trajectory, especially the bouncing ball level. There are just too many balls that bounce just high enough that it's nearly impossible to get over them, and even if you do, there's a huge chance that another one will be so close behind that you can't clear that one. Here's how each level should go: The police level should have those spiky things shot at so they land ahead of the elephant, but on the ground. The money level is okay, but maybe make the money a little more spread out.

Maybe it'll help other people (besides me) with getting the badge... I found out that when I hold the left arrow, you won't go back at really fast pace. You slide somewhat slower to the left. For me this was really helpful (especially at the last two parts). It gives you a little more time to react to incoming threats!

Dude, change it into Impossible, I can't even get past the 2nd level¬_¬.

Is it just me or is the collision detection boxes misaligned as I swear I hit the bottom and it doesn't count it but I miss the top and it counts a hit.

For those who're having major difficulty with insane mode, remember that holding the back arrow can make the elephant move backwards at about the same speed as the obstacles moving towards you. This can prevent some unfortunate deaths that arise from slingshot-ing back into obstacles that you've already passed.
And for the geese level, note that if a goose's beak is above your elephant's head level, it won't hit you, but any wings that flap upwards and touches your underside WILL kill you.
Hope this helps a little!

DO THESE GUYS EVEN KNOW THE MEANING OF LOVE? I'm like getting catapulted with mines by some mother f*cking police people who won't even let me get back to my wife. How evil are these people?

nearly everything in the game is random. if you keep playing eventually youll get one where its a lot easier than the others.

Kongregate seems to be riddled with games that last 50+ levels, or are basically endurance games with badges every hour; it's unnerving. Run Elephant Run (as well as many other games by jmtb02) is an amazing game, holding a decent storyline with epic music. It shows how flash games don't get any better with length, it shows that a truly good flash game has a solid system and doesn't require 10 tutorial levels to get started. Wonderfully well done.

Road spikes and beach balls. Those just beat out demon-possessed undead orcs as my worst enemies. And I have developed an irrational hatred of pillars and birds. I still like money though.

There's a little problem with size here... The ducks are half of my plane, and larger then the Elephant. THESE ARE SOME BIIIIG DUCKS

in the insane mode when u are on the dolphin some of the poles leave 1 milimetre of a gape how are u supose to jump through that

On Insane mode, the first stage is by far the hardest. It helps to hold left and pull back in between the mines, then to jump for above the mines on the ground and below the mines in the air. That stage is just unfair; there is no excuse for having the mines blend in with the road. But after 294 continues, the badge is mine.

Grab a can of your favorite soda, find your favorite position on the sofa, stick a coin in the back arrow and let the fun commence .
