When fighting the first boss...After it shoots all the homing things, if you pause the game they will disappear eventually then you can hit the boss....repeat.

That was fun. Not quite what I expected. I figured there was going to be some horrible twist that his daughter had become Subject X and he was actually killing her or something. Nice to have a happy ending though and the help system was very effective as keeping me from getting lost with the odder tasks.

This reminds me of the golden age of platformer-adventurers, and I didn't even live through it. I take my hat off to the developers for such an enjoyable game. I hope to see more!

Absolutely phenomenal platform game. One of the very best games I've played on here. You did a great job with the bosses and your use of powerups really served a purpose and opened up the game. Really really really well designed game. I will be sure to check back periodically and see if you come out with anything new. Great job. 5/5 for sure.

I agree with primalbaloon, that boss fight blew me away - killed me first, then I realized what I had to do. A great moment of realization :D

I blew up the power generator .... died. And now when I respawn the generator is still destroyed , can't re-destroy it lol and the door is locked ... wtf.?

the help was a very good idea. It's not at all intutive that you want to fall down a hole instead of trying to break the blocks in the more obvious roadblocks when you finally learn to fight.

The framerate is a nice 40fps in the starting shelter, then drops to <10 fps as soon as I get out of the shelter to start the game. :(

Glaceia - There's nothing wrong with the healthbar, you just aren't doing it right. You have to get the first boss to hit the stalactites, nothing else will damage it.

i was terrified that when i was killing the last boss it might have been a mutated version of Lily who had been experimented on... but thankfully I was spared that painful ending! :p

Love the attention to detail especially the thunder being muffled under water and using the grenades to light up the darkened lab.the controls were tight, the bosses were challenging and memorable and the music and story were great! 5/5

love when you find the clubhouse , but it think that Easter egg should have had a special item or something fun. something you could use in game . maybe a more powerful gun ? or a flame thrower or something crazy just for the people who backtracked .. good ending

for wall jumping +double jump, you cannot do the second jump on the wall to do to wall jump. so stay a bit away from the wall then do a-a-right-a. +so nobody leaves stupid comments complaining!

The game is very nice but some minor flaws. Personally I don't like the controlscheme of arrowkeys. As someone who has been using WASD for 15+ years controlling movement with the right hand feels awkward to me. Different controlschemes to choose from or better yet rebindable keys would solve this issue. Secondly, while the ?-help is usefull in most cases I observed I also often find it utterly useless. For example at the first pressure plate I run around for half an hour and could only find 2 stones. I simply couldn't find the 3rd stone and the help-system says 'You need to find the 3 stones'... o rly? But other than some minor flaws like that it's a good game.

*Watches ending*... You ****ing dick, Jon! The fact that the last hope for the human race happens to be your daughter doesn't justify condemning the world to die in order to get her back. Lily even told him they didn't hurt her!
@mbalzeshari I'm guessing subject X was their attempt to synthesize a cure from a fellow hazmat. That's why they needed Lily, because she wasn't exposed to pollutants or radiation... ever, due to being immune.

The Project X mutant isn't really creepy, just slightly annoying. Also, if my daughter was the key to saving humanity, I'd have just let her go with the scientists.

I have three letters to describe what has me finding this game years after playing it - O, S, T. The title theme to this game is beautiful and the melody was embedded in my mind until I came back to this page and found it.

Here's a secret: After you travel in the ship, and then you go underwater, you end up in a cave with survivors, talk three times to the dog, it'll act as a pill!

Awesome game, but the frame rate gets really weird (as Ajax the Greater has pointed out previously) so it's kind of hard to enjoy it; I'm just basing my previous comment on the intro and the little gameplay I got in before I gave up since my computer seemed like it was ready to implode. Hope this gets badges soon!

I was totally preparing myself that the monstrosity at the end was your daughter which was somehow mutated , thus resulting in a tragic ending...Oh well
