Having the boss move around and aim for where you are made it more unpredictable, which is good for a challenge. The fact that you don't stay at the bottom was interesting, but the auto-aim took the challenge of finding an opening to attack the enemy. Awesome music and SFX, esp. the crunches and squishes. Overall, pretty decent game.

not too bad, basically a time based avoider where upgrades just make the boss stages shorter. The "killing" of the enemy is just a mask of what the game really is. 4/5

5/5, Solid not-too-difficult game - I love how when you upgrade, you visibly see a drastic difference in your attacks and how quickly they kill the bosses. The dodging of attacks rather than attack patterns is only fun for a short time, but the game is short, so that's fine. Only thing I would add is perhaps a manual-target-mode with you being able to kill the little bugs - the homing bugs, the bug shooters, and perhaps even the 8-shooter cocoons. That would have been a nice addition to add more challenge. Still, good enough game for a 5 from me.

Great game, i loved the rotational movement around the screen and the upgrading system, i turned it on easy and won in 7 days so maybe the difficulty could be increased for hardmode? the only real issue i had with it was that the little pink flowers were a bit awkward to spot against the background.

It's fun but I think you got too carried away with allowing the freedom to move all over the screen with no penalty. As ravewarheit said, it was really mindless at the end. It think part of it could be attributed to the far too frequent direct shots and *especially* the homing insects. I know they're misdirected but combined with the direct shots they really force me to move far too much every time I see them come out. But I did find it rather entertaining so 4/5 to you.

It quickly got from "dodge bullets" to "save lives for the final boss". Then run around like a maniac 'cause there are no patterns, no safe spots, no thinking involved. Just reflexes and lots of luck. Unless you exploit the slow-mo. 4/5 for being a great, polished game. I just wanted more pretty patterns.

Before anyone posts about how this is similar to boss slayer I just want to point out that they were made by the same person and this is the sequel to boss slayer. That is all.

First try in 8 days...at 3 AM....wasnt really trying...its an okay game, but it invokes to much boss slayer. it feels less like its own game and more a boss slayer clone with a bug theme. and the final final boss was to much reactance 2 for my liking.

I have to say, this a near copy of Boss Slayer, except there seems to be a flimsy cover of bugs and plants. The upgrades are exactly the same, the bosses are pretty much the same in how they fire, even the modes, easy and normal (which has the same amount of days as Boss Slayer). It's fine when a game "inspires" someone to make a game similar to it, but when two games are so similar, such as these, whoever made the original game deserves mentioning somewhere in the description.

not bad. I enjoyed it. It's just quite simplistic though. In terms of a game, it was flawless, but I want to see more. It's like seeing a friend beat a campaign on medium. Okay, you know how to make a perfect game, but I want to see some interesting ideas though.
I'm not saying that this was easy to make, but to rise above and beyond the generic game, it feels like it needs something cool. Personally, I don't know, I would ask myself "what would nerdook do?"

WTF? Day 3, just upgraded the shit out of my little butterfly, EVERYTHING RESET. Please fix the bugs, no pun intended.

Pretty good shmup, I like the idea of having to die before you can upgrade, it makes you push your skill. However, having the dev's website pop up every time I clicked 'continue' really messed with me when starting the first day, and it even happened a couple of times in the middle of a level when I hadn't clicked anything at all. Totally cool to put the a link to the devsite in the game, but making it the same as the 'start level' button - not lovin' it.

terrible bugs. clicking on the "continue" button makes it very likely that a tremorgames website will pop up or will reset all of your upgrades and make you start at the beginning.
