Shrines are toooooooo damn imbalanced! Drop them!! Killed evry Boss with a single Spell (Army of Undead each 5,5k dmg) and final Boss with 2 attacks. Also the first castles are toooo weak! Killing the castle with catas is done in 2 rounds, while killing the troops would have taken 10 or so.
Game was freaking easy and thus boring.
3/5

the game is too long in my opinion. it also gets quite boring after a while, mainly because there are only a few monsters in every area so the battles repeat themselves.

There needs more rhyme and reason for the sliding attack bar. Why is the "target" size seemingly random in one attack as opposed to the one just prior, on the same opponent? One moment it's big as 15% of the whole bar, the next just a small sliver. Add to that the frustration of sometimes the target being in the very beginning which makes it impossible to get a critical at times.

:( game froze on my half way through then when i tried to reload my save is showed up as a level 34 and the second save was a level 12. neither loaded and never got it to work. game is a giant grind anyways. not worth the mass time required to get back to were i was.

Small issue, I do all the side paths and knocked out the tournament as early as I could... which means that, with my level, I no longer gain Souls from the enemies I'm fighting... and since you lowered XP requirements, that means that I level up in these lower areas too quickly to have a chance at gaining souls off of the enemies in the next area. o_O
Dunno, kinda get the impression souls are a liiiiittle important near end game. :P

Can you remove the thing that prevents you from obtaining souls from weaker enemies or please let us buy souls, its really annoying not being able to obtain any anymore.

To developer - Gold and exp gains seem to be good (didnt play b4 changes) but i found that b4 i got the island where the king is i was unable to gain any souls all mobs i fought said monster was to weak to gain its soul (didn't spend time grinding just played it through) so u may need to look into the lvl restriction on gaining souls

Seems glowing ambition 2 isnt working "tested using same atack before and after".
Btw if u wanna do the sieges the easy way just get 2 catapults to attack the castle directly and it will take 2-3 turns to win

Game has serious balance and grind issues. Too many levels that are pointless and easy. Taking over a castle is very tedious and easy. Fighting generals are simply marginally longer battles and easy. There was way too much time spent trying to make the game big as opposed to focusing on refining the gameplay. Battle could be vastly improved both when you're "Lethal" and when you're commanding the army. In the end, neat concepts but poorly executed. 2/5

This game reminds me of old-school Adventurequest before it got intense and stuff. (except with more spelling and grammar mistakes and less humor). Mind you, I still played it. I might not have done so were it not for the hard badges though.

Good: Decent graphics, great soundtrack, huge world, lots of gameplay, decent story
Bad: Can't reallocate skill points, get really grindy really fast
Overall good game, I've been following the Lethal series ever since the first game, although it seems you're trying to pull a lot out of the series and you've already done a lot with Lethal.

One more thing... your sword can be upgraded infinte times... But it stops changing the swors skin at lvl 10 where you get the black+white spiral sword. But to get there you will need like 500 + souls. Like i said, impossible to achiev without cheating... unless you enjoy torture lol.

What determines army and catapult strength? It seems all so random. Perhaps some indicators of strength/status would help in this situation also.

I seem to be stuck, I can't launch an assault because I can't build buildings because there is nowhere to build them.

BOTD hunters, finish the first two levels, then play the yellow level 15 times or so. Then head south. Your progress will only update when you level up, and the enemies to the south are worth more xp.

What idiot programmed the potion button. It says "use most appropriate potion" and it uses a 500 hp potion when I'm down 200 hp and have plenty of those to use.

1. You don't need two different units for the first siege, instead you need to click frontmen twice. 2. Tournament can always be accessed on the Gosha island. 3. Tournament dragon can be killed by using silence every second turn.

Finally finished the game after literally 6 hours of pure grind. When you get to the final boss it's not even interesting because you've cleared like 500 levels, so you're so strong you two-hit the last boss... Let me change my rating from 2/5 to 1/5 because after getting the final badge I didn't get any sort of relief, I just feel dirty and like I could've spent those 8 hours better literally staring at a wall.

you should really just let us decide which potion to use.. if I'm missing 501 HP, I want to use the +500 potion, not the +5000 potion.

I didn't get the Shrine blue print until the last island and it made the game SO much easier in that my initial 3 attack per turn were doing 50k hit points of damage. Do not recommend spending souls on buying skills points or any other things except improving your sword only. I finished the game with about 5200 hp and 1100 mp. I bought all of the Knight items and enough of the Mage and Demonic items to get 50% heal and all items for increasing mp, strength and hp

The game is not so hard as it is time consuming, A lot of time is needed to go through the repetitive gameplay which makes this boring, dull, uninteresting to play. Please make some changes in the combat system. The achievements give so few points for the time it is needed for them to be done.

For those wondering how to get past the first castle, click the footman twice. You have to bring two frontline units, but they can be the same type. It doesn't really explain that part very well.

I think the turn system is amazing because its not just spamming attack its 3 attacks in one but that system is also bad because my auto attacks give me mana and for example i am 1 mana short of a important lifestealing skill but i need to wait for next ROUND before i can regain the mana and that could risk my life

"Dark Force: A land of pure evil. Explorers who attempted to explore Dark Force did not return."
Why is there a map, then? *gasps and dies*

The basis for a good RPG fighting game is here, but I feel like there isn't enough complexity to make the combat truly engaging. The battles are mostly brute-strength affairs, and having to fight one after the other becomes a bit tedious. The castle sieges, while a good idea in theory, quickly suffer from the same problem: you know whether you're going to win before they even start. The game is entertaining as it is, but I feel that with more unusual skill trees and more diverse enemy attacks that require strategic planning, it could have been much better.

some ideas:
- add "use last options" for sieges...don't wanna click the same units on the same targets again and again ;)
- add "magic auto combat" option to fights...I fully specced into mage first and using "auto combat" wasnt quite useful for me :/
- show current status-effects (regen, shields, silence etc.)...otherwise it's sometimes hard to tell whether regen 1 is still active or silence still in effect...
- the dispell-spell should be castable when silenced...silence is the only real status effect I wanna remove and that spell is supressed by silence
question:
- why do enemies have 4 turns in sieges but I only have 3?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the game, overall, it's nice, even if it's a little too grind-based for my taste. But there are a couple things you HAVE to fix. 1) We need some sort of text to indicate what statuses we have active I.E regenerate, weaken and 2) the AI is total crap. I mean, what's the purpose of casting regenerate and then dispel? Or to cast five times in a row some spell that doesn't stack with itself? Come on!

Could've mentioned that Glowing Ambition II doesn't do ANYTHING without Glowing Ambition I. Kind of a waste of 20 skill points.
