All we need is a sequel to this awesome game with more specialties, more tiles, and most importantly, more levels. And better controls.

the true difficulty of this game is the controls... they are extremely frustrating to use. a big issue i saw was that your spawnlings that haven't hatched yet have a higher priority than the ships that can reproduce, which makes it very hard to put up an effective defense. please look at all the comments around and fix stuff :)

If it weren't for the terrible controls this would be a great game. The click and drag makes this nearly unplayable in the later levels because it's just too unresponsive. Needs to be point-and-click.

LVL 12 is easy just try to get 3 hexes on the begining than defend with 2 and use 1 for expand when You get 5-6 win is matter of time and fast clicking. Just don't let to kill all Your "defending unit". Be prepeared to reproduce even if hexes=units, you will lose units all the time. Dont forget about Your 1-2 expand unit.

A command to make all available ships spawn a new ship would make this game fun. Or you know something better than trying to click every ship while they bunch up on top of one another might work.

I rarely say anything even remotely close to this while leaving a review, but I hardly understand what I'm doing, or why, and even if I did, I'm pretty sure I'd be bored to death playing this anyway. Sorry. 2/5 because I've actually seen worse. Good luck on any future projects.

To all the people who complain about the enemy getting too many bugs.......an easy way to win is to get all of theirs corralled together then send most of yours to attack a hex close to them. The enemy bugs will focus on defending while you send one away to gather up the other hexes. After that just reproduce fully and crush them.

it seems like after you've created a group the moment you try to drag them to attack the group disolves. Otherwise I really like this idea of evolving and conquering

I hate the controls on this game with a pure hatred. Mostly because it has so much potential, but then they have those stupid green hexes that mess everything up, or I can't get my idiots to do anything. and why is there no auto targeting? If I don't tell them what to do, they sit there like idiots.

individuals are better at controlling themselves than taking my orders. I left two guys with armor on the last hexagon i had, and when I came back almost a minute later they had conquered half the map and I quickly had them reproduce which cause them to overwhelm the enemy without my direction.

Amazing concept, but glitchy, and needs to have different controls. Possibly a setting where you can control the speed of the game?

I really like this game but having to move them one by one sucks. Whenever I try to move them all at the same time, it doesn't work. That should be fixed.

for the love of god! to the comments under mine, THEY NOT BUGS, THEY BEES!! ROBOT BEES! and zerg rush is the point of the game, control and graphics are good, exelent campaing, i give this game a 5/5 and a favorite. kongregate needs more games with breeds of robot bees.

Now for an actual game comment(refer to my previous one for those in confusion). It's a great game, much like those that many played on sites like gamefudge where you controlled cells taking over other cells. Except this, sadly, was less strategic, more zerg rush and grab everything you can. Graphics are minimal, but not horrible, gameplay is decent, aside from the controls. The double clicking to breed is fine, but not if I have to do it for my life to handle the bosses, and the 'eggs' keep piling up over who I'm breeding. In addition, the click and drag is irritating due to limited space, the bugs sometimes catching on edges, and good luck if you're on a now very common thing called a laptop and have to use a mouse pad. The first few bosses where interesting, but the last ones were a test in patience and button mashing where you zerg rushed by madly breeding.

Normal boss battles, sure, okay. Enemy zerg rushes, a bit challenging and strategic. Duel super upgraded bosses? Zerg rush like hell, breed like hell, and hope they mutate on there own to become resistant enough so you can send a few off to collect a few to add to the already quickly diminishing panels you have so you can keep it up. Took me 10 bloody minutes to beat the first duel boss, 15 on the last boss.

How about a button to select all. I am tired of selecting all my bugs with the mouse. And I would like to see health bars, or at least just the boss's health.

The game was really good once i got used to the controls it was really easy and i love the fact that you can breed your army how you want it but since it's so fast-paced it's hard to make your perfect army unless you come by one by accident and just reproducing that one. 4/5

Worst game controls ever. Even at the very least, creating hotkeys or shortcuts would have improved this game a lot. Instead, it's a lot of persistence and frustration considering the computer starts with more drones and can multi control each one to do a specific task whereas we have very limited control and are forced to work with one large group instead of several small groups because we cannot easily move the screen around and we cannot create simple tasks for each drone to do.

The controls are confusing and frustrating as all hell. I get what you want me to do, but I wish there was a better way to go about doing it.

Timvdalen You must click a unit, (or drag a box over all the units you want to interact with), and then, move the mouse pointer to the place you want them to go without releasing mouse :P
