4/5 would get the full 5/5 except for a few things. Targeting is a must; the ring ships soaking up missiles annoy's the crap out of me especially when 2-3 motherships tear into my base. I would also like to see an ability to upgrade my relays, they occasionally need more health in order to not split your base with one stray missile. THEL's need a balance too, the rape your energy. I don't know what the specifics are but a fully upgraded THEL can cost the same amount of energy as about 6 regular lasers, and the range means that it will constantly fire and take all that energy away from your miners. Besides the few game play changes i would like to see the game is still very fun, even if i don't want to stick around through all the Crazy missions.

Very good game the side missions if anyone has trouble with them build alot of repair stations and laser turrets. 5/5

While Cyborg is generally right in his description of THELs and missile launchers, this only applies when you have a steady stream of minerals. For example, in Defend the warp gate, THELs actually are more useful than Missile launchers, since you fight lots of mother ships, but cannot mine minerals.

Whenever I try to open the game, I get a 15 second ad followed by the game not launching because the loader was bypassed, due TO the ad. I'm sure the game is good and I ain't gonna rate it 1/5 until I play. Anyhoo, Kong, fix please.

it would be great if you can tell your weapons to target specific ships: pause and go around and click on the targets or click on them in the mini-map. that would great!

To be honest I started this game for the 2009 quest. Now, I realize that this game is very fun. With all the different things to do. Survival,mining,energy. It's a very easy game to learn but hard to win as you progress. You have to keep your energy high which is usually the biggest issue for me ending with 10 solar systems. Very fun and entertaining game. 5/5

You know, it's really frustrating when I'm trying to defend a station or whatever, and motherships come in, and I build a missile platform and upgrade it and by the time the mothership gets there it's got plenty of energy and minerals behind it... And the missile platform just sits there. Uselessly. It does not fire. It lets the motherships tear everything apart. This is not fair!

needs a large map instead of these mission, a large randomly generated map with differing objects, and maybe a backstory and the ability to build ships, and attack pirate bases, as well as upgrades that appear as reasearch that transcends games, as well as perchance more building types and enemys

Jesus christ I was just reading all the comments about people saying how hard the best of 2009 badge is thought I'd ignore it... Played onto the first survival mission fairly easily... Then got through about 20 seconds. This is definitely not a medium badge

Anyone have any tips for beating Weapon 2/6 on crazy? It's the only one I can't beat. The last two levels were a breeze even on crazy, but I cannot figure out the strategy for Weapon 2/6!!!!

Needs upgrades so if you lose you haven't wasted your time. Also you should be able to focus an enemy unit, or at least have some sort of setting for each weapon so you can setup your powerful weapons to target mothership instead of weak projectiles.

when/if you make another one you should add- 1. targeting 2. more towers/turrets 3. new enemies 4. an inverse style where you attack the comp defends 5. out of level upgrades/personal level 6.competitive mining ether multi payer or vs computer...... 1 2 & 3 more than 4 5 & 6

This game's turrets NEED priority targets. Rocket launchers should not target exploders, unless there is nothing else to target. You have no idea how many times I've been killed by swarms of motherships because of this.

The reason I love this game so much is because it puts a very different spin and flavor to the Tower Defense genre; nothing is on a track, everything is freeform, you have to think more creatively on how to deal with each oncoming threat. Yet at the same time, there's a sense of ambience, even when you're in battle; you can play this to relax even though it's an action kind of game. :D This game's a masterpiece, and I've made a private resolve to obtain that 60-point badge in time. :'D
By the way, two THELs wiped up a fleet of 15 Motherships without a hitch. :O You shouldn't underrate them.
