Thels are great on supership mission if you have enough solar and repair station. Then when the supership targets a pulsar, your repair station holds up while the thels drain it's health away.

Very nice StarCraft like strategy game. Only very annoying (as already mentioned in the above comment): missile launchers are stupid and there is no direct way to tell them at which target to shoot. This "feature" (in my opinion this is more a basic function) is lacking. But despite this: 5/5.

Ugh. I was happy to see a sequel because the first one's missions get very simple too quickly. But these are all just as simple on Normal. Playing 10 times on Normal is way too many. I would maybe do 3, but after that it's just too boring. After beating once on Normal, why shouldn't I be able to move on to something more difficult if I choose?

so how in the hell are you suposed to get weapon 1 done on normal when your thels will CHANGE TARGETS from a still alive mother ship to its fighters i meen wtf isnt it supossed to kill a target before switching to a new one?

That doesn't really make much sense to me beanotown. If you're having trouble with this one (which I am) going to a harder game won't help. You should do the opposite. That'd be like telling a kid who's trying to learn to walk, to run a marathon to get better at it.

This game is just not my type of game, but I have to play it for the best of 2009 quest. Don't get me wrong it isn't a bad game, it's great for people who like this type of game. But I'm more of a get out there and kill things kind of gamer.

If you are bad at this game, play the original TSG to train your skills as the missles were not that powerful and rings ships are tougher.

Dont use THELS. O-ring ships can be destoryed using missles in TSG: missions. BUT they are the only thing that cause heavy damage to rings in TSG as missles dont work on them there.Also,they drains energy,which could be fatal.

Wow. 4 Superships. I survived with 16 fully upgraded missles, 14 fully upgraded puslers,1 fully upgraded THEL,8 fully upgraded solar stations, 7 repair stations and 3 layers of enery relays around my base.

Why is this being so damn hard??? It's not a hard game..I don't see why I'm having so much trouble. It just seems like I can't mine enough minerals fast enough or I get get swarmed and they take out all defenses quickly. It's a great game but...idk.

Below: Dear Hotshot2012. It's not an RPG game, so there's no point in levelling up. You lose a mission get nothing? If you lose a duel in wild west, you die, same happens here,but cause it's a game you just go back in time and can try again.

*Pro Tip* ~Remember you can use relays as distractions when you are high in minerals and low in combat sources due to their low cost and short installation time~

I take it back, after some very odd visions in my sleep of lazers and towers I am tempted to throw in another 12 hours...difficulty setting could use a little tweak. Very difficult to believe so many people got the impossible..

I just spent about 12 hours getting the medium badge. Its a cool game and all but i would not mind if i never saw it again now...

The easiest missions to do for medium badge are Missions 1-6, Weapons 1, Defence 1, Response 1+2. At least that's how it worked for me.

*cries* I'm only able to beat 5 missions. I have all the right turrets in play, but they always hit the wrong targets.

The game is great, but few tweaks would make it even better: 1) Ability to set what type of units your towers should target. It's stupid when my THEL fires for fighter, and there is a mothership in range. 2) Asteroids should wanish when you mine them dry. This would make more sense.

I have a great idea: They should have an exchange for Recource and Energy option. Energy would be worth more of course.

I find connecting energy stores to stations, and then defenses to the stores is more efficient, because you will not always be staining you're energy on a station with a max of 10, but relying on a store with a max energy cap of a few hundred. This must be prepared befor ships get to close, because the stores must be filled up still. Like if this helped :D

A single fully upgraded THEL will probably singlehandedly get you killed if it has to fire for more than a couple seconds. It consumes so much energy that a set of 10 fully upgraded solar stations isn't enough to keep energy production positive while the THEL is firing. When they said High energy, they meant it.
