The developer needs to make another game like this where the cells must evolve through specific conditions to create more specialized cells (like an upgrade system where u can mutate during transcription if unlocked) to allow for mutual cooperation with the end purpose being a working multicellular organism. perhaps with other organismism randomly forming and failing that u could possibly use as a food source or be food for.

Science should be that interactive for kids. Great game, I learned something new. If you interested in such games I recommend you Socrates Jones Pro Philosopher on Kongregate

This is a very important educational game about cell biology. It's great for beginners who want to learn more about it and for people who want to refresh their knowledge, in a fun way.

This game HAS to have a sequel! + if you agree. Goes without saying that this game is very addictive and has great potential. While having its educational elements, it also appeals to gamers using its real-time strategy/defense elements.

Hey guys, I'm the programmer for CellCraft. We fixed the "can't make toxins" bug as well as many others in version 1.0.1! If you're still having problems, keep filing those bug reports! We are listening and doing our best to help you out! Thanks for everyone who submitted, ESPECIALLY those who posted screenshots!

Guys, the game doesn't work because the game requires data from carolina.com, the sponsor, which removed the game and data from their site around (give or take a couple days, it wasn't announced) January 19, 2016. If you want the game to return, send them emails, please.

I would also like to add that there should be a free growth mode to have fun and build as many chloroplasts and other things as possible for fun instead to visit the campaign again due to nostalgicness

My teacher actually assigned beating this game as extra credit :P
Ten pts and some knowledge for our tests can't be beat when it's a fun game.

From Monotremus to E-4R1H. Do you feel good about what you just did there? On another note, did great in biology class when I was a kid and played this. 5/5 stars. Also taught me how to destroy the human race through the use of something as simple as a cell. And the evolution of fish.

great game :X Love that story :X very fun :X but... you forgot something:
after having a cell that will grow into a baby platypus (example: a male), where can you find the second platymus (female) ?

For those questioning the chloroplast in the cell, noting platypuses (platypi?) don't have them, the cell was not a platypus cell. It was just an amoeba, which the scientists used to store the DNA information of a platypus. The robot was to clone more platypi (platypuses?) when he got to E4R1H

lol. When it first showed "You got some Ribosomes!" i read it as "Ribawesomes." Needless to say, it got me more excited than I should have been.

@SuperGameFreak: Disable 1 Chloroplast, Recycle the Other, Recycle 1 Mitochondria, then Build your defense and keep moving. Slowly buy toxins and Strengthen your defense. When your ATP gets low, split your Mitochondria (you should have lots of resources to do this at this point), if not, you can always recycle your other Chloroplast (I never used it). Took me ~11 min to complete the level, but I had no difficulty
