i'm at chapter 8 and when i finished the last mision (twice) the game just blocked:| it's a bug or it something i should do and i dont konw about it ? :S

I got so frustrated having to redo everything all over again, even after saving the game and quitting. It just annoys me because it's the third time I have to replay everything I went through. I played it when it was on v1 which I understand had some bugs and the whole not-saving-the-game-even-after-I-saved-it was frustrating but I waited. Now that v2 came out, it seems like no real effort was put into fixing the actual problems, and based on the comments I've been reading, it seems like it's worse. The game idea isn't bad, but it's just too frustrating to try to play through it and everything I've done, just go to waste.

positioning of enemies is poor. hard to select enemy at back as its hidden behind middle enemy and constantly moving.

I don't think any of their testers even got as far as the final fight or did they just expect you to never make it that far? The grid is frustratingly small, there are too many bars of "armor" for the later 3v1 fights and you'll have to take out one guy (7 bars) in 1-2 turns to survive. I managed to beat it ONLY because of the 2x damage buff from the trophy shop and even then had troubles. Trust me, it's the only thing worth buying otherwise I'd have been stuck grinding for hours.

nothing happens after i beat the last battle. game just sits there. i got the final badge, but i dont get credit for a trophy. i have gold trophies for everything else.

Make it possible to quit and restart mission (seriously, why did you forget this?) and fix last mission! Dead templars are just lying there and John is standing and deep breathing, no final cut or something...

Would be nice to have a type of Back button after you choose a skill to use. More than a few times I've clicked wrong skill or changed my mind and had to use the one I didn't want.

Fix the lag.
Enlarge the grid, if nothing else through upgrade system.
Quit/Restart battle button would be stellar.
More item upgrade options would be fun. I'm already beginning to hoard $
Followers in a sequel that could perform different buffs/attacks sharing the same grid. Would be a fun way to clear away useless tiles or make them more manageable.
These tweaks/implements I feel would make the game top notch.

Lots of potential, but needs some work still. As has been mentioned, randomness is a huge factor. Character types are far from balanced as well. Techs cost enough that it's often tough to use more than 1-2 each game and since they draw from the same point pool it's better to focus on just one.

Nice game, its easy to understand and still fun to play.
But there are a few things that frustats. Besides the things already said i think the archievments in chapter 2 mission 1-2 are far to hard to get, you have less rounds as in mission 4 for every enemy. You need to be extremly lucky to get it or wait until you are strong enough to kill them with a 2 or 3 combo.

Game looks neat, but lacks any kind of helpful information on understanding what the components are (ie. the tutorial is a joke).

I managed to get the badge for winning the final battle by refreshing the page and completing another battle. However, I still haven't managed to get the game to stop freezing after I win the final battle, after several tries. I enjoyed the game, but the flaws, especially at the end, really take away from that. The game also desperately needs a way to restart or leave a battle in the middle.

Achievements and badges aren't triggering correctly. I'm not getting the badge for winning the game (I've won twice since the badge came up), and I'm not getting credit for mastering all classes, getting all the golds in one game, getting all the golds in 3 games, winning the game with three classes, unlocking the gold save slot, and getting every gold.

I also feel that the game needs a larger tile space, or maybe add that as a purchase in the trophy shop, as in the later portions the lack of long combos makes the game extremely frustrating. Also, I have the same problem with the game failing to finish after the final fight in Chapter 8, it just sits there on the battlefield, with the passive animations going, and nothing works. The story was great, the reason I attempted to finish despite the abusive gameplay, but not being able to see the end severely hurts it.

I really enjoyed this game, storywise and gameplaywise......several suggestions tho (as others have said before): 1. Explain what armor+combo tiles do in the tutorial 2. Fix the freeze after the final fight 3. expand grid, lets say 5x4 4. The third special move as a warrior (Armor Pierce) doesnt work for me 5. Add a surrender battle or restart battle button....sometimes, your starting combination sucks so hard, you cant do anything with it. Nonetheless, i had fun finishing this game, nice atmosphere! Fux those things and it will be 5/5

I'm trying not to see these animations ;)... for me type of animations are the only big similarity with Sonny. bad you can not turn them off ;-). My 1st thought was: Knightfall. Knightfall + Sonny = this game. Sonny - zombie, here - vampire.

as what dyno said to wait, i did wait for 25mins but nothing... i think the developer doesnt care anymore about this game... not even a single response from the developer.. thats it.. rating it to 1/5 due to game freeze, which results to players disappointment.

The animations for the attacks seem drawn out. I mean, usually when there's an attack that long, the damage is spread throughout the attack: Slash - 2, Claw Up - 2, Whirlwind Claw - 5 .. etc. etc. It's kind of disappointing that that's not the case.. Or as an alternative, wait till the animation is done and then flash the damage done.. Otherwise I feel like I'm waiting for any extra tacked-on damage from the cool martial arts, only to be disappointed to know that it's just flashy graphics.

I've beaten the last level about 10 times. It does NOT award the badge later, just stops before the 'John Turner' trophy is awarded.
The only way to see the final video seems to be to lose the last level first attempt.

*Major Bug* Chapter 8, Battle 7 hangs after completion. Both times I had a XPx2 bonus activated. The first time it gave me the "I am John" achievement and then does nothing; John just stands there with his coat flapping in the breeze and the target select circling under the last corpse. The second time, Kongregate gave me the Hard badge for completing the game; cue John just standing there, coat flapping, target select circling, nothing else happening.
