i died like 10 tines in the tutorial because the background stayed white, so i think you should let the background color change just the way it does in the actual game

Great game, though it seems like it should be called "Playing the Field" or "Commitment-Phobic" or something. If it's supposed to be Love, shouldn't the goal be to figure out which square gives the most happiness, and then crash into it on purpose, not knowing whether it would give a huge bonus or a game over? I guess that wouldn't be as interesting to play, though. The important thing is, it's a fun game. 4/5

well it isn't about "cheating" on other squares, i guess love here means friendship(uless you are reeally closeto 2 or more squares, but that IS dangerous indeed). The suggested introvert mode makes sense; it would be interested that every interation caused a slight personalyty change on the player(changing where you are on the introvert/extrovert scale)and a slight change of attraction in the other squares(if it llikes you or not) randomly, and based on how fast you were spinning;this things would be indicated by the color of the squares and background.

I'd like if some other squares came into the picture every now and then. No one goes through their whole life with only 5 or 6 other people...

Other squares should be more like your own: spin faster with proximity, rack up points, get damaged by collision. Also, instead of collision meaning instant death, it should mean loss of points by both sides (particularly the full score of the minimum-scored participant). Then hitting 0 points would mean death (whether for you or an NPC square). Finally, new squares should be spawned by (you) reaching certain rotational velocities, with the requirements increasing geometrically (i.e. reaching threshold x spawns however many boxes are needed to bring total up to y--and holding x means continually maintaining box count y). That way you can more effectively keep NPC count up and also have the possibility of racking up killer combos but at major (though not necessarily lethal) risk.
These changes would add a lot of depth and longer-term playability.

absolutely amazing. Very relaxing and the music is so nice i got distracted from the game when it sounded really nice as i flitted between groups of squares.

Since you call it a highscore game, it would be nice if 'See Stats' would also show your overall best stats in addition to the stats of the last round.

it may be just me but it seems like the notes need to be tuned. sometimes two that are octaves sound off a few cents and it doesnt sound like the notes are all in the same key (in less music speak: the notes sound off. two of the same note sound like they are almost different notes and it makes multiple notes playing sound weird)

One Important Message from the game: In a relationship, if you're not happy, look around you. Maybe you'd be happier someplace else.

I like this game, although it reminds me more of friendships a lot more than love. When your with 3 or 4 other squares you move more slowly which reminds me of how friends stick with each other. But when a square (friend) leaves the group just kinds of fall apart going into their own seperate path. It reminds me alot like actual friendships sometimes, when your alone, nobody seems to notice you and go at their own pace, but when your with friends, the group seems to go to a much slower pace, making you able to catch up.

I agree with danzimfan. This game really isn't akin to love since you're connecting with as many people as possible. maybe rename it friendship or connections or something like that. other then that it was an amazing game (max speed = 704) (i also got a max speed of 666 XP) 5/5

this game is amazing. i really really enjoy playing it. but why the hell did you need to make it "SPACE" to start a game???? why not simply by clicking? having a touchscreen and playing this with a pen is nice but having to press "space" ruins this fun entirely. i give it 4 stars as the instructions themself are WRONG: "You only need your mouse to play" no you don't you need your mouse and the "space"-key. once the space key issue is resolved i will give it the 5 stars i'd like to give it.

Excellent game. There needs to be a category for ones like this - where the focus is more on the theme and motif rather than the gameplay itself. I don't think anything really needs to be changed - the simplicity of it is what makes people think of all these other things (atresia666 - "Try adding some exciting stuff like that some of the square don't like being cheated, others would be addicted to you", archmuffin - "Now I feel like I'm cheating on the other squares when I go to a more populated area...") Introvert mode though could be an interesting easy mode.

It's funny, when playing this game, I didn't think of it as only 'loving others', but as connecting others. I thought of it as bonding, and how when friends are really close, more people come to get in on their friendship. Friends go their separate ways, but always end up sticking together.

I enjoyed it. A nice original idea brought to life by some well thought out presentation and wonderful sound design. Granted, it's not going to keep me playing over and over but all in all a lovely casual game.

Ok, I'm giving you 5/5 and favourited for the concept. And now the facts: 1) Pity there's no such thing as campaign etc, the game and the idea has HUGE potential, you're able to create the succesor of the "Comapny of Myself", try to expand it. 2) I feel like I were the bad guy in this game (not a bad thing, just wanted to notice it). 3) Try adding some exciting stuff - like that some of the square don't like being cheated, others would be addicted to you etc. etc. Make it even more realistic and psychedelic. Looking forward for your next productions.

Now I feel like I'm cheating on the other squares when I go to a more populated area... The metaphor is interesting... I think I'd like an 'introvert' mode... Gain slight happiness from being alone (but still have everything moving fast) then gain more happiness from 1 or 2 nearby other... but more than that subtracting happiness. Just a thought. Maybe have some others be repelled by you, other... others attracted. It's still nice and relaxing.

Simple graphics. First try with 13.000 points - got bored and stopped playing.
The idea is nice, but the game needs some features (actions; power-ups, etc) not to get that boring after a short time.
The sounds are nice and I really like the game's idea - but I think you need to come up with some more features to make this game popular.
I'm pending between 2/5 and 3/5 - but I'll give you a 3/5 ..
