Great game! Have you considered Xbox Live Arcade? Include some of the suggestions in the highest rated comments, and expand the content into a longer game, and I would gladly pay money for something like this.

@felipescado: The "if" conditional is not explained well by the tutorial. It only works if the robot is that color. Not necessarily the square he stands on. You change the color of the robot by lighting when you are on a colored square.

The arrows buttons are actually Clockwise and Anticlockwise from the bot point of view, instead of Right or Left. With this in mind is hard to confuse them

It is really interesting from a programmer's point of view. The conditional execution kind of reminds me of a feature of the ARM instruction set (every instruction is conditional).
The one thing I would suggest though is adding some debugger functionality. Say breakpoints or a step option so we can see what is going wrong.

Everyone, really, read the description: "FOR THE HARD BADGE: SCORE COUNTS DOWNWARDS WITH EVERY LEVEL YOU BEAT." It cannot be more clear than that.

It's not turning left and right, it's turning clockwise and anticlockwise. That said, the symbols for turning are counterintuitive. Anyone having trouble, look for the ? button, it explains everything.

FOR THOS WITH TURNING PROBLEMS
the left turn button turns the robot to ITS rights, and the right turn button to ITS left.
minds that its from the robot's perspective

I think that the reason most people find the turning arrows counter-intuitive is because each arrow starts at the top and begins at the bottom, showing the way someone would turn if they were positioned across from the player and looking towards the player. If you drew the arrows starting from the bottom and ending at the top, you probably wouldn't get so many complaints. I don't know if I was clear enough, it's hard to convey a shape without drawing it :/

If the game doesn't load in Ruffle, use this SWF file: supernova://play?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0008/3984/live/Lightbot2.0Kong.swf?kongregate_game_version=1364428095 (Just copy and paste the link into the URL bar and press Enter or Return to start playing!)

I like light bot 1.0 better. In light bot 1.0, you could clear most levels without useless moves, while in light bot 2.0 it seems that most levels have useless moves that can't be eliminated.

@tru3canadian You don't. You're playing it. Main mode is basic-expert. Below that is submitting your score for main mode.

Interface needs work. How about drag commands rather than click-click. Need to be able to insert, or move more than one command at a time. And for the love of Gods put the turn right on the right, and the left on the left!!!! 4/5

I agree with the L and R turn buttons, but you should also be aware that in some other languages, L and R aren't the initials for their Left and Right, such as "Izquierda" and "Derecha"

BTW, you realized programmers rocks you you understand that your mind just doesn't fit this kind of puzzles, and without WT you are lost... and at the same time all the programmers in the comment: "well, that was easy". Programmer win, human being fail.

oh well, managed to launch this on Flash 10 with severe troubles, still a very entertaining program game. 4/5 just for script flaws, otherwise 5/5.

Last two levels ware out of my mind... Excellent game, I passed all levels except last two with out walkthrough and have a very good time playing :) Lightbot 2.0 is even harder then the first one, but it's giving much more fun. Thanks!
