Thought this might help some people. Open 2 windows each covering half the screen. When the level starts type in the location, search and zoom out. You gotta be quick in the later levels though:

It's technically cheating, but come on, you follow walkthroughs for puzzle games don't you?

Gonna have to start learning those African countries... I'm really glad there are games like this. A practice mode where you could concentrate on one continent, region or hemisphere at a time might be useful too.

Hmm, might be easier to get strikes if I zoom the page so the game fills the screen. Haven't gotten one yet, but I've been below 50km on a bunch of cities that I knew well.

Thanks to hundreds of hours of Europa Universalis IV and Hearts of Iron IV, I now know where a good number of these cities are, but my knowledge of Africa is quite lacking, and it throws some really obscure islands at you, so it took a bit to get the hard badge. I remember playing this game when it came out and back then I was mostly guessing.

JUST MAKE THE GAME EASIER TO PLAY, OR THERE WILL BE A FLOOD OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS, CAUSING THE GAME TO BE SHUT DOWN FOREVER!!!!

@Giluc, I know I can zoom in the browser. The issue is that even in maximum size, where I can see whole map+timer+name of city I need to click, some countries are too small to click/locate accurately even if I know where it is. In-built option to zoom-in would be nice.

Badge of the day on medium badge, on an "educational" game ... *sighs* and *sighs again*. I know once the aliens overlords throw their EMP destroying internet I won't be able to reach anywhere on my own because I don't know the least bit about geography, don't need to rub it in...

In Europe you get some points even if you pick the wrong country, but in USA you get screwed if you don't know the city names xD

Dear world: If you get lost please don't ask me for directions. I get lost two blocks from my home. I suck really bad at this game. I am an ignorant American.

So, it seems that by going to another tab the game just pauses, giving you plenty of time to look the place up... okay then.

the difficult is not to know where the location is but to translate it to your own language and move with your mouse against the lag

*looks away* Are you sure this is major cities? What have I been doing in school and after I graduated?
At least I have not failed in Intra-Asia cities so far.. But if someone ask me about countries/cities in Europe or America.. *hides*

Please set all badges in this game as hard. A good chunk of the community here was schooled in the USA. Please, think of them.

"Not only were you wrong, but you weren't even in EITHER of the correct hemisphere's."
They should call this the Shame-Game.

The scoring system on this needs work. So does the cartography. Basically, if I get a European country and it's somewhere near Germany, it doesn't matter where. But if I pick a Pacific country and the actual island is on the other side of the map (Looking at you, Hawaii), the distance measured is the long way round and not the short. Also, needs a projection where it's more fair; maybe an equal-area?
