You know, being in the green party makes you think a lot about which bills can affect the country positively, but the idea of passing "bad" bills to sink the country is starting to sound so inviting to me.

Its probably nothing, but I clicked the button play ability for and it got stuck,so to speak, however, with another click it was fine.

@trampek You're only saying that to avoid giraffe rights being established. I bet you also support child slavery and have a boner for Stalin!

we have a big debt, bad health, 75% taxes and bad defences (even mozambique can conquer us) but people is happy. I wonder what could make them sad.
Turns out you can spend a lot of money and make people happy even if things aren't generally going great. Of course the problem is that it all unravels after a while, much like the Soviet Union.

@gordonSo if that is what I may call you considering you are using a fake account made only for clout, considering you barely play, because if you had then you would know that the scoreboard wouldn't be so high and players wouldn't last so long, there used to be CT3s on the leader board. Who said I was trying to get rid of them, if you read what was said you would know I was saying in general if someone really doesn't want to lose their character than it is almost impossible to get rid of them. And you are just ready to hate on me since 80% (4 of 5) of your comments are slander against me. Do you even play the game or is the sad bane of your existence dedicated to malicious purposes.

This game's kong chat sometimes becomes the bloody game congress too from what I see. The only difference from the game itself though is the fact that everyone has infinite energy, there are no clout tiers, and everyone can use Wildcard, and Wildcard only.

I feel this game has gone as far from power gaming as humanly possible and whenever they is a chance to power game you come and update It so it is not possible to. Also on a side note I think war bills give out too much clout. I don't think it should be possible to stay alive for months on end at the top of the leader board with immunity to everything it makes the game uncompetitive.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't call it power gaming, just not the opposite of power gaming. I like equal opportunity to feel the moment of getting a relic.

At this point Congress is basically a jobs program. Talk about too many chefs in the kitchen. Basically, imagine thousands of Gordon Ramsays who don't actually know how to cook, so they just swear at each other and start grease fires. :D
I've always thought it interesting that our RL Congress isn't large enough to even theoretically be a representative sample of the population in a best-case scenario.

What happened to not being able to get more than 3 relics? I am glad it is possible I like relics better when how many relics you had didn't determine the chance of getting a relic.
Well, I'm not surprised to hear that you're a fan of powergaming, all things considered. But I'm not. So it's staying like this. It's also never been literally impossible to get a relic no matter how many you have, but it becomes nearly impossible after 3.
The code that detects opposition to binaries was mainly put in to stop people from farming. Which isn't really what's occurring. I'd also guess about 95% of those relics are going to be back in the pool within a month after being handed out to a random noob who stopped playing.

...Stupid mistake, went to increase defense spending, Drop my keyboard(I have it in my lap) and went with decrease education funding. This is against my ideas, for we need well educate scientists to make the super weapons we need to conquer the world. Also I'm low on clout now.*
The mistakes show just how upset I was.

I totally would like to jump on the bandwagon that's pushing for "coffee." Cigars and alcohol lower your stress for very little cost, I think there should be an option that increases energy and increases stress (very little amounts) and is a minor scandal. It would be a nifty little addition to the scandal wardrobe. :)

Expensive illegal Coffee from Columbia
-Minor Scandal
-Gives Energy
-Not in the Black Market
-Did i mention it was expensive?
Heh, well, this is definitely the most creative solution I've heard for that one. But then I'm pretty sure people would just ask why they couldn't buy normal coffee. Then again I suppose they don't ask too many questions about the cigars.

1. a lovely game, i love the premise, the interaction the PVP. 2. i think all the little sayings from the abilities are HILARIOUS. i used half hearted punditry not for its effectiveness, but to see what my character would say, finally. THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING TO COMMENTS. i always like to see a developer cares
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow, are you people serious? This is the ONLY game where on kong where people are hounding me because i think the game is less than stellar. Wth is wrong with all you user that you feel the need to send hateful messages? ffs its a game. Grow the *** up.
I think it's because by writing a nonsensical review and reporting a nonexistent bug, you kind of outed yourself as an ally of the people who mess with the game. The people who play the game are understandably not big fans of people who try to break connectivity to the game and slander it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Any chance of a cup of coffee or caffeine pills that function the same as beer/cigars? They don't give much boost but their scandal is minor.
You do realize that your character has no gender as far as the game cares, right? Did you miss the lack of male pronouns? The general lack of references to gender? The store having women's clothing? Or were you under the impression that I was disallowing women, but 100% ok with transvestites? We're getting all Shakespearean up in this bitch.

So are the devs also players, or is it like the real US government where the people who manage it aren't necessarily a part of it? *gasp* The players are merely a puppet government controlled by a secret society!

Two Questions: Per-scandal chance is almost always 1/3000 yes? And Nearly Flawless Past halves that? Or is the formula something else entirely and I'm lost?

"What if we played for more than one country? We could also coordinate international laws and send representants to UN, OMS, G8, etc."
What I intended to write is that we could choose countries at the beginning of the game and make more than one goverment istead of competing with just numbers from the world list.
The problem with that is that it would require writing infinite different games (not all legislatures work the same) and it would completely fracture the playerbase.

i hate when it says "hacking the game is bad...mmm ok?" and i din't hack anything!!! however good game 5/5. Best politics simulator ever!!
That would be a bio weapon giving the diseases. But really I have no idea how people get confused about this. Decreasing spending on health-related industries doesn't somehow immediately give everyone in the country smallpox.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just realized after I made my comment, you can also not give them any clout for the bill winning/losing if they switch sides, since that sounds exploitable to get more clout
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think you should be able to change sides on a bill at the cost of some constituent support, it's very embarrassing to wonder why playing the "think of the children" card for a banning of GMOs is a gaffe, and then realize I opposed it accidentally *hand-to-face-action*
