tip to get the flies, focus on one half of the screen, once the moths break through the other half you still have a large area to keep you alive.

wow.... man there is nothing that can even harm this web i cant even see through it! 1 bee later.... HOLY FING SHIZ THIS ENTIRE THING CAME DOWN! and that is just one 1 bug of the many bugs of this game's bugs

All of these people are complaining about two stupid things. One is that your web breaks and their is nothing you can do about it. YOU ARE A SPIDER you aren't supposed to be able to do anything. second is that their is a huge wave at the end. Well DUH... it is the final boss

Just got to the bat level, at this point my web was only on the right side, but super reinforced, and one regular bee hits it and the whole web comes down. Your logic does not work, game.

This game is good, but the "web randomly expldoes for no reason" has some reasons. The most ***** one is Fireflies. That retarded moths come when one is stuck and then, its like... your whole screen is filled with them and your awesome web, with a lot of golden parts, just breaks down and you say "Damn, this game is idiot". I vote for less moths following that damn fireflies. They cant be so retarded.

I was enjoying this until my whole web broke at once for no reason... I think two humming birds might have flown through the middle... moments before a bat came... I was doing great till then :(

i'd love to play, but my flash player is fully up to date and my spider is stuck in the middle walking in space where he starts on the first round. ugh. 1/5

Ok, this whole "web randomly explodes for no reason" glitch absolutely kills the game. Great concept, well executed, but seeing my entire web blow up right before the bat stage TWICE is mind-numbingly frustrating. 1/5 for that glitch. Figure it out!

If you want to win, web around the edges and ignore the middle. If you lose an edge, you lose that one edge. If you have the middle filled with stuff, you lose the edge, and the middle, and most of your other edges, all in one go.

Interesting concept but the mouse disappears when in the game state? Is this the same with other computers or just mine?

Would be better if each bug gave you a slightly stronger web..instead of just making you desperately try to catch stag beetles that just break your web the majority of the time. It gets frustrating after that happens a few times. Decent besides that.

If you want to catch a bat, the trick is to not be too ambitious. Only cover 30-40% of the screen with webbing, but make it as dense as you can, and quickly eat anything that lands (esp fireflies or queen bees - stop everything to remove these). Let most of the insects pass by untouched and you'll have the time and energy to keep your web clean and tight so that you're ready for a bat when it comes.

This game is just awful, your entire web can be shattered in a flash and there is nothing you can do to stop it... the better designed your web is, the more you trap, and the more likely you are to be obliterated... just a badly designed (but definitely innovative) game... 1/5

Piece. Of. Crap. There's no other word to describe a game where even the slightest of errors can result in your entire web collapsing from top to bottom and you being forced to watch your avatar quickly run out of webbing and then starve to death. It is so ill-conceived I'm not convinced this is anything more than a junior high comp-sci project. Kongregate should be damn ashamed of themselves for considering this worthy of badges.

Having trouble with the later stuff? Try building more of a dense cobweb in the corner rather than a central web. I've managed *multiple* bats on my web at once using this technique.

golden webbing is worthless even when over 25% of the web is made of it and still fireflies instantly destroy it... perhaps its more important to have a stand of golden webbing entice from top-bottom/left-right of the connection points rather then encircle the central web

Too much clutter that fireflies burnt right through my web and it was all gone. :( i cou ld've caught a bat with that th ing those damn fireflies
