I really enjoyed this game. The upgrades seemed to be priced right, the monster options were pretty sweet. I enjoyed the map changes and bonuses for fighting on different places. Keep up the good work. I played until I beat the game and yea it was great, would enjoyed something more of an ending but great! 5/5

I like the graphics, the interface, the concept, just about everything... except the combat. Since you can't rearrange your animals at the start of a battle, and you can't cast spells till 2 or 3 rounds in, and you can't choose targets, pretty much all you do is tell all your creatures to attack, every round of every battle. Its just not interesting or strategic. And the leveling is unsatisfying, with such a small effect. Hate to see all the good ideas and art go to waste, would love to see the battle system redone with a more strategic or more interactive slant.

A really elegant game in terms of appearance and interface, but it does suffer from the fact that, in essence, every battle feels like every other battle you've ever fought. It could stand to be a little more complicated, and to reward players more for winning major engagements (castles) -- both in terms of challenge and treasure, they're barely more interesting than a standard skirmish. Still, nice game -- simple, clear mechanics, iconic graphics, intuitive play.

An over all decent game. 3/5. Some random stuff was in Spanish. I think the lvl system makes it more challenging, but almost too much.(Level 2 lion with the rest of his teammates level 10 fighting level 15s? Not good.)

Only giving you 3/5. Here are my suggestions: get rid of fights after you've changed a circle blue, or at least reduce the frequency; do away with randomizing animals, let me pick my team.

Haven't gotten past the instruction screen, but, I must say, This is a great visual style! Cartoony animals, smooth animation! woot!

if you use the bears or whatever and your not to stupid to keep them all alive when you get 3 stars or whatever you get 4moves per bear and you winz

So... only HP goes up with level? Eh.
Is an interesting game, but needs some tweaks. I'm not too fond of the idea of if you get knocked out, you loose a level. But if its just HP based, then levels have much, much less importance than party configuration or strategy.
I don't think I'd say this is better than Monster's Den. That game had much more plot and story than this.
The idea has a lot of potential (Brute Wars), and if developed further, could be a much better game.

4/5 but get a bonus point for having someone try to say its not better than monsters den 5/5
Monsters den was bad I dont know why people liked it

If a critter gets knocked unconcious it loses a level, this makes it remarkably difficult to keep it alive. I've got a level 13 whale while everything else is level 22 (and two are over level 30).

again: with a small playtesting this game could have been in the top5. You really need to find someone to test the game before you release it...

Could have been a 5/5 game but...
1.(this is the most important one) After you reach the shadow area and have 3 cyclops the game becomes way TOO EASY. And it is totally boring to go back on the other line to get the two other castles. And this is true for the whole last level too. You can win all the fights in 2 or 3 rounds(even the last one), without casting a spell or thinking at all, just attack, attack, next... Hmmm... So the game is great until you reach the randomiser shop at the shadow level. That is the real end of the game.
2. No storyline at all, in an RPG style game.
3. Spells are too weak. You are fine without casting even one...
(4. Annoying music. Ok, you can turn it off, so this isn't that painful)

WTF. Game did not save. :-(
I saved almost every turn. The slot showed it as filled, but when I tried just now to reload, nothing. Boo!!!
Loses a point till fixed.

Once you get shadow creatures, the pwnage commences. 3 Ogres up front, 3 Vultures in back = game, set, match :D great game :D

not better than monster's den. it doesn't have the depth that it should and there isn't enough control over the group or leveling or anything. decent game and fun to waste time but could be better. 3/5

good game but it fucks with youtube which is not cool. i don't want to listen to crap music i want good music (youtube)

Very nice game, does get very repetetive and becomes very easy, very fast. Needs a few balancing tweaks and it'll be good 3/5 from me

What are the castles supposed to do? Pretty good game, not overly challenging, but a nice game to kill the spare time. Could use something added to it, just don't know what :P 4/5

If you are a high level and you retreat you lose the money but if you retreat you dont get the positive money either. So you lose or you lose.

Friendly territory should stay friendly a *bit* longer. It's nearly impossible to keep up with revitalizers when you have to fight your way back to a store then fight your way to the next fight.

yeah it is.says in the tutotrial by the old owl that red squares are battles and blue are safer than red but still can get attack.still,it's better than red :)
